Our Dining Room and Patio are now open!!! WE ARE ALSO OFFERING CARRYOUT, CURBSIDE PICK-UP AND DELIVERY FROM 11:00 AM to 8 PM Monday thru Thursday, 11:00 AM to 8:30 PM Friday and Saturday, and 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday. We are also exited to announce the return of our family and friends' favorite - the Bristol Sunday Brunch buffet. Home of the Green Chili Wontons, Louisville’s favorite guilty pleasure, Bristol Bar & Grille has been the city’s neighborhood restaurant since 1977. Original menu dishes include the classic Bristol Burger and aged, charbroiled New York Strip steak as well as new favorites like Pork Dijonnaise and Theresa’s Sweet Chili Linguine. We source ingredients from local farmers. Certified Bourbon Stewards are on staff to guide diners on selection of Kentucky’s native spirit. Bristol Bar & Grille East is located at 300 North Hurstbourne Parkway, north of Shelbyville Road. Guests can opt to sit in the traditional dining room or the outside patio.

                                                              4 of us for dinner. We are regulars but our friends hadn’t been in a long time. They had the barramundi fish special & the burger with bacon & both thought it was very good. Service was great, even though they were busy. I had fish tacos & shared the chicken chili & my husband had a burger & slaw. Always good!

                                                              It had been a while since we had gone to the Bristol, but we had a special anniversary so we decided to go back. We were not disappointed! We asked for a large table in a quiet part of the restaurant and they complied. The service was excellent. The menu has expanded since we were last there and now includes some vegetarian dishes as well as meat dishes. The food portions were way more than each person could eat, and everyone agreed the taste and flavors were superb. We had a great time in this visit and we will certainly come back soon.

                                                              Bristol honored our request for a round table which since I was hosting bookclub it made it much easier to talk. While our server did an okay job she wasn’t very attentive once we received our food. Our drinks were never refreshed nor did she check in with us. There was something for everyone food wise and everyone seemed to enjoy their dinner. We were not offered desert. We were greeted by the hostess in a timely and friendly manner. Overall I would certainly go back and hope for a different server.

                                                              Food is always excellent but not over priced like most of equal quality. Why go elsewhere when you have great food and service? Besides, you can actually hear those opposite you at the table without having to shout at each other!
