   Service was ok. Server seemed to have too many tables. Lobster bisque was excellent. Scallops were really good. Crab cakes were good. The filet was not good. Big chunk of silver skin on one end and the other end was so mushy it turned to paste in my mouth. Not what I'd expect for what it cost.

   The food was outstanding, unfortunately either our server struggled with the workload or had difficulties keeping track of everything going on. We were seated immediately and the hosts were fantastic. Our first interaction with our server was a bit awkward. He seemed a bit distracted and didn't quite know the menu. We ordered steaks but he apparently forgot to ask how we'd like those cooked. Ten minutes later, he returned to ask how we would like those cooked. Twenty minutes after that, he reappeared and apologized that there was confusion in the kitchen and that he just entered the order for our salads. I didn't order salad, my wife did. 45 minutes after being seated, my wife received her salad and I received an average creole gumbo. Our server was concerned, which was good, but I didn't want a replacement. Not a big deal. An hour after being seated, the main course arrived but steak knives did not. Five minutes later a random server asked if we needed steak knives. 30 minutes later, I had to remind him about desert. After ordering desert, another 20 minutes passed before receiving it. It was amazing. The food was fantastic but our server couldn't keep up. I would think that restaurants wouldn't want people camping out for over two hours. From seating to paying the check, we were there 2 hours and 30 minutes. The food was great but our server struggled to keep up. The other strange part of the evening is the showing of World Wrestling Federation and MMA on the televisions. I don't typically eat while watching half naked people beat the hell out of each other. Seems like an odd choice for a restaurant that describes itself as "upscale."

   Started out with an appetizer at the bar, my wife ordered the lobster roll. I couldn’t eat it but she said it was one of the best she has ever had. Main course she had the crab cakes, the problem she had was there was to much crab, just kidding but it was all crab meat and was amazing. I had the seafood mixed grill, scallops, and shrimp were cooked perfectly. The crabcake was amazing, like I said and the salmon was unbelievable. It was a great 40th anniversary dinner.

    They removed the char crusted tuna from the menu. They also got rid of the foyot sauce. Two of the main reasons we even go there. Not happy about that, as the I’m sure most fans of the Bristol are. Terrible decision.
