At first we were disappointed in the fried at first we were a little disappointed that the green beans were not on the menu, that's the reason that we go, however our waitress Kathy said they still make them, just not on the menu. My daughters face lit up when she told her that. Kathy was absolutely outstanding to my girls, she learned their names and found out one of them had a birthday and helped us celebrate more! She was actually fantastic. The food is always great too!

Ordered a beer on the menu and they were out. Watched the busboy use the broom from the floor to sweep off the table. Not quite authentic British food if you have ever eaten in the U.K. Sausage rolls were whole sauces in pastry. Bangers were more like a local sausage and not of the consistency of a true English Banger. For a Friday night it was not that busy. We have been to the BBC in Worcester and will say it is much better than the Pembroke location.

The service was impeccable. The food was phenomenal and the atmosphere was the best. We're definitely going to return.

I have been a regular customer of BBC for about 2 years and have always loved the ambiance, service, and food choices. We typically sit in the bar area, but because we had another guest with us, we decided to sit at a table. Although the food this time was fine (we opted for pizza and salad), our service was disappointing from the beginning which made our experience not as pleasurable. Our waitress seemed very sweet but was definitely not knowledgeable of the menu, timing, or explaining drink/food choices. But we were patient because perhaps she was new at the job. We sat at our table longer than usual for someone to greet us and once she did arrive and we were asking questions, she kept trying to walk away. The restaurant was busy - but not overbooked - so we felt rushed and not properly waited on. Here is an example, we ordered two glasses of wine - one cabernet and one rose. I asked for the "house" cabernet which is the obvious lowest costing choice, but when the check arrived, I was charged for a more expensive cabernet and at a different level size (the restaurant has 3 wine size choices). The waitress should have asked what size wine we wanted, but since she didn't, we were both charged the mid-size level. The mid-size wine is probably customary, but we always choose the smallest size. Since we had questioned a few things with the waitress throughout our dinner, I opted to not bring up the wine charges and we just paid and left. I will be back because I do like to atmosphere, but I will stick with sitting in the bar area.

We've been coming here regularly for over a decade. The menu changes enough to keep it interesting , but the quality of food and service is always consistently high. We go to the BBC here in Pembroke, but also Plymouth and Sandwich and we're never disappointed.
