   We arrived after a long drive from Little Rock. We live in East Cobb. We’ve never been here before and will never come back. The waitress with the long blond hair and black circle earring holes was subpar. Never told us the specials, I specifically asked if they had broccoli, she said ‘no’. We received french fries when we ordered mashed potatoes and then I took a bite of my salmon which had a strip of plastic packaging in it. I thought it was a bone. She offered to replace the meal with something, I said ‘no thank you’. She did offer. After that I look over at the table next to us and they were eating gobs of a vegetable that looked a lot like broccoli. I asked her. ‘Oh that’s broccolini and it only comes with the special.’ I didn’t even know there was a special. If it had broccolini, I would’ve ordered it so that my kids could eat something green and nutritious after a long drive. Also, I wouldn’t have then chewed PLASTIC in my dinner. The whole thing was off. It got awkward with the broccolini question and after a long drive I was disappointed with how it added more stress. My husband still left 18%. Open table asked how the night went, so here you are. I would definitely pass. Too many better options.

   Dined there for lunch. My companion had a crab cake , which she raved about. I had a fish sandwich with a side of fries. My sandwich was well seasoned and prepared perfectly. BC usually hits a high note, and did this trip.

   Romeo was awesome as ever, great service and personality! Gf and I visited for my birthday and sat on the patio to avoid some of the inside bustle. They are a very popular spot, so definitely make a reservation in advance if you can! We ordered the avocado egg rolls to start, split a fig and walnut salad, girlfriend had the turkey club while I ended on the Reuben. Both sandwiches are fantastic, especially when paired with that creamy garlic sauce. We split a glass of bell gloss Pinot Noir and I have to say that Brooklyn Cafe offers great wines at prices other people just can’t seem to beat. Thank y’all for the wonderful birthday meal, I will absolutely be returning for another Reuben!
