2-Star Review for Brooklyn Chop House – Times Square Our experience at Brooklyn Chop House was pretty disappointing. We had a reservation, yet the check-in process was painfully slow, causing a significant delay. By the time we were finally seated, we were already behind schedule. We were placed on the second floor, which turned out to be a major issue. Apparently, all the food is prepared downstairs, meaning everything took an excessive amount of time to arrive at our table. The wait was frustrating, and by the time our food finally showed up, it was hard to even enjoy it. Service felt sluggish overall, and we didn’t even get to finish our meal because everything took so long. For the price and reputation, we expected a much smoother and more efficient experience. Unfortunately, the delays overshadowed the food, and we left feeling unsatisfied. Definitely not worth the hassle.

The food was horrible I hated everything there was nonthing good the waitress that was serving me and my boyfriend they were even rude. I didn’t feel comfortable or welcomed. This was terrible because it was Valentine’s Day. Brooklyn chop house really played their selves. Definitely overrated.

Our server had no knowledge of the menu, so we had to gamble our dietary allergies as we ordered. We ended up going somewhere else for more food that could be confirmed gluten free. They also do not have gluten free dumplings.

I had high hopes for this place, but we were extremely disappointed. We walked in expecting a cozy atmosphere for a romantic dinner, but the music was so loud—blasting rap music—that we couldn’t even hear each other speak. We left after just a few minutes after a failed request of reducing the volume or moving our table away from the speakers.
