   Kudos to the owners and interior design team...while many of today's restaurants focus on industrial chic, BD has gone back in time and enveloped their customers in a Victorian setting with an attention to detail that evokes a scene from a Charles Dickens novel.. Today, the gas fireplace and the everywhere you look Christmas decorations set the mood for this season's holidays!! With an expanded menu and a holiday themed drink list BD is a must visit during this festive time of year!

   Beautiful place and we enjoyed sitting outside with all the Christmas lights. they had a great DJ playing music outside. Have to find out when he’s on again. 😊

   This a a great, upscale Irish restaurant, somewhere between a pub and a restaurant in execution. The decor is drop dead gorgeous (how does this exist in Sea Bright?), with a beautiful bar that stretches the entire length of the room. There is also a great patio / courtyard with well-spaced tables, a giant fireplace, and plenty overhead heaters for chillier nights. The bartenders are fun, knowledgeable about their extensive top shelf spirits, and make outstanding cocktails. The waitstaff is very friendly, although the service delivery can be a little uneven when things get busy. The menu has changed a bit over the past couple of months with some more comfort food-type items making their way onto the menu. One busy nights it can get quite loud, with an energetic buzz of music and happy customers at the bar. This can sometimes make your table conversation a bit challenging, as all of the tables are in pretty close proximity to the bar itself. Overall this is a great spot that is building loyalty among the Sea Bright / Rumson / Monmouth Beach restaurant regulars who want something a little nicer with great ambience, that is not at all stuffy.
