   Brougham Arms Review – 3/5 Stars We had a booking at Brougham Arms for 6:30 pm and arrived right on time. While we were seated promptly, it took 30-40 minutes before anyone brought menus or took our order. I eventually had to go to the bar to get someone’s attention, but once a waiter came over, they were friendly and helpful. The entrees arrived, and we placed our drink and main orders. Unfortunately, there were a couple of issues with my order. While my two friends' food and drinks came out correctly, I had ordered the Pan Baked Barramundi but was served a chicken dish instead. I also requested a 0% alcohol beer but was mistakenly given an alcoholic one. To their credit, when we pointed out the errors, the staff replaced both my meal and drink free of charge. However, it took another 30-60 minutes for my correct meal to arrive, meaning my friends were well into their mains before I even started eating. Pros: Friendly and understanding staff Good quality food (once the right dish arrived) Errors were corrected without extra charge Cons: Long wait times, especially before even receiving menus Incorrect orders (both food and drink) Significant delay in receiving the corrected meal Overall: The experience was fine, but the mix-ups with my order and the long waits made it less enjoyable. The staff were kind and accommodating, but the service could use some improvements in efficiency and attention to detail.

   The meals were great, well above "normal" pub fare and reasonably priced. The atmosphere is a little noisy but not overly. The service is good, and the meals came out promptly, although it didn't seem that busy. We will be back !!

   We decided to treat ourselves with an evening meal at one of our favourite gastropubs last night - and as usual we weren’t disappointed! Promptly seated in a quieter section of the spacious dining area, the Specials observed and the modified menu perused, we decided on a shared plate of Duck Spring Rolls with Davidson Plum Sauce (and a tangy salad on the side - YUM), while I had the Tuna Sashimi Main Course, and hubby chose the Mediterranean Chicken Breast. Since both dishes had ample accompaniments, sides weren’t considered. Both dishes satisfied us, mine especially, both in taste and presentation - faultless! Our glasses of wine also matched comfortably - Pinot Gris for me, Clare Valley Riesling for him. Two very happy customers - thanks to an effective kitchen team led by a wonderful chef and an efficient and friendly front of house team. Watching all of them at work shows just how important they all are to successful operations like this- may it long continue.

   We were celebrating my husbands 80 th birthday. The table setup for 8 was perfect, a large square table in an alcove made it a lot better for conversation. The service was spot on, and all our meals were delicious. Pricing was good for the quality of meals, all in all a lovely restaurant we will definitely be back.

   From the moment you walk in you are greeted and made comfortable. We had been serviced and yet a young ladie asked if we had been tended to.. Outstanding customer service! The restaurant is so clean and very nicely decorated. The food!!! Wow. So so good it feels like an insult to say good! So outstanding! So happy and satisfied to have chosen this restaurant as our first stop in Bendigo this year!! We will be back!! Stop by and check them out!!!

   Barramundi was a bit overcooked but didn’t detract from the overall meal. Enjoyed by all and service was great. Good wine list

   Awesome pub vibe. Great drinks on tab. Plenty of variety in the section. Great place for a few mates for dinner and a couple of beers. Also got a table service for a family or a more formal occasion with the restaurant. Pricier end for a scotch steak but absolutely worth it. Plenty of more affordable options to please everyone. Huge portions. Lamb is fantastic. I’ve been twice this week! I am at out of towner. Monday is quieter more relaxed and Thursday, Friday is a busier vibe

   We are only giving 3 stars for service as we were given an incorrect drink and meal. Once we received the correct meal, Nasi Goreng, it was really nice, and the Duck Spring Rolls were excellent. We've dined at the Brougham Arms a couple of times and the food has been really good. We could go back again when we're visiting Bendigo.

    We had a ladies luncheon, the food was delicious and service was 10/10 we all had different meals and they were all impressive in size and flavours. It wasn’t busy but all the waitresses were very attentive and fun.
