We ate at Bruno’s for my husband’s birthday with his family. We were driving in from out of town, but Bruno’s is a favorite from when my honey lived in the area. We’d made a reservation in advance because we needed a wheelchair accessible table. I contacted them also, and was assured there would be no problem accommodating us. We have a celiac family member with us. Our waiter, (I think it may have been Brandon?) was so knowledgeable and helped our niece be able to order safely, and actually enjoy the whole experience. She never knows if she’ll have to stick to a salad, and eat later in a restaurant, or fully participate, we were all so pleased. Our waiter was a huge contributor to our very positive overall experience. I had the short ribs, and they were amazing! 10 out of 10, highly recommend! My husband had the chicken Marsala, it was so rich and delicious! We don’t partake, but some of our party were very pleased with the wine list. We enjoyed our evening so much, thank you, service staff, kitchen workers, and management!

Wonderful outdoor seating. Weather was perfect. Fabrizio took great cate if us making sure we always had what we needed. I had the Jambalaya which was delicious. We will be back soon.

This was our second time eating at Bruno's before attending a show at the Bankhead Theater. The food was excellent, as before, and the service was prompt, allowing plenty of time to reach the theater. The portions are generous and my companion took almost half of her dinner with us. The theater allowed us to leave this at the office and pick it up after the show. (This has nothing to do with Bruno's, per se, but made taking food with us easier.

I chose to have my birthday lunch here because I wanted some linguine with clams and I used to love it here. Unfortunately, they changed their recipe because this time it had no flavor; I added salt and pepper, Parmesan, more salt then some chili flakes, then gave up. There were four of us and no one was impressed with their meal. We had a couple of appetizers as well that were okay. If I’m going to pay $28 for a pasta dish, I expect it to be fantastic! I’ll head over to Melo’s next time, food is better and parking is so much easier.

Our entrees were Linguine Frutti Di Mare (Tiger prawns, scallops, clams and fish of the day sautéed with onion, garlic, fresh tomatoes in a white wine marinara sauce.), Veal Piccata (Tender veal sautéed with garlic, capers, in a white wine lemon juice sauce. Served with potatoes and vegetables), and Salmon Carciofi Grilled salmon with sautéed artichoke hearts, garlic, fresh tomatoes and lemon juice with a white wine sauce. Served with potatoes and vegetables.). Our bottle of Sauvignon Blanc from Murrieta's Well complemented each of these dishes. For dessert we had tiramisu. All were excellent and the service was very attentive.
