Lunch today was a wonderful experience. We had a window seat overlooking the Yahara River and enjoyed watching ducks and geese. Lunch was great, we had today’s special which was a firecracker shrimp bowl. Service was friendly and efficient, and the restaurant’s ambiance is excellent. Great experience!

William our server was great. French Onion soup was too salty. Would prefer to add as needed. Music was too loud, would really prefer a more soothing higher class ambiance of music. B&H is a marvelous place overall.

A birthday treat with friends. We always order the Flower Sprouts for an appetizer, it's so yummy. Service was excellent and as always, the food was delicious

This was the 3rd time we have dined at Buck N Honey's. I LOVE the Mushroom Risotto, & I order it everytime when we are there. I ordered the Beef Mushroom Stroganoff this time. I was good, but I didn't care for the noodles used with it. They should be "twirly" noodles that are not thick, & I didn't see to many mushrooms in my Stroganoff. Our waiter was "Kadiere", & he did a great job! I wish that the place served mixed alcoholic drinks, but their drink menu isn't bad, I enjoyed my PineApple Mimosa". I will be back, but will come in the evening because I like the ambience much better at night. The only other thing that could have been better, is having our Waiter come a little sooner than he did. He did say he was a little busy, & he would get to us soon. He did check on us often, so that made up for it. PLEASE change the noodles in the Stroganoff, I believe it will be ordered more often. Overall, my Hubby, our Daughter & I had a great time. 😀👍

We were a party of four on Valentine's Day eve. We got there almost 30 minutes early, but they seated us immediately. The hostess and the waitstaff in general get high marks, especially on such a busy night. The noise level was very high, but I attribute that to the holiday. It's a great space inside - open, but still manages to create a sense of some privacy. The only complaint is with the food. The apps were great (we got the sampler), but the main courses ranged from okay at a high price to bad at a high price. Seafood risotto was blah with some very strong, fishy, overcooked lobster in the dish. My lake perch fish fry was 70% batter covering tiny overcooked fillets. Another in our party had a steak which was cooked well, but bland in flavor. I can't recall the dish our 4th had, but it was also lackluster. Given the price and the special day, B&H was a great disappointment.

All 4 members of my group ordered different items. One was delivered at least 5 minutes before the rest, and then the others were delivered one at a time. I ordered my favorite grilled romaine and tenderloin salad, but the romaine was barely grilled. It lacked flavor and there was no green, it was all yellow and white. Also there was barely any blue cheese. Overall, disappointing. The desserts were good, but my friend said the rum cake was underwhelming. However, our server was delightful.

Sat near two large tables of celebrating guests. We were happy they we’re having fun however their language was a bit foul and they were loud. Made it difficult for us to be heard. Also, we ordered the onion soup to enjoy before our meal and it arrived with our entree which rushed our meal. First time at the Monona location and it was very nice! Food was delicious. I had the Tai Chicken bowl which was tasty. My husband had the baked cod fish fry also very good. Had enough to take home for lunch today.
