Head Chef, Edward Marsh and his team of talented chefs work tirelessly to create mouth-watering menus that are English at their core and stay true to location, whilst remaining innovative and modern.

Menus feature fresh local produce from the neighbouring Vale of Evesham, affectionately known as the market garden of England. Fresh herbs are grown in the Manor’s own grounds and, as you would expect in a house of this heritage, there is a magnificent wine cellar.

Please note: the dress code for dinner and Sunday lunch is smart casual and we ask that gentlemen wear a jacket in the dining room.

Food was absolutely delicious, ambience is so peaceful and content. Really would recommend and great value for money for three courses each at such a high standard.

Our coats were kindly taken at reception and we were ushered into the lounge where I had ample time to peruse the extensive wine list accompanied by some lovely peppery crackers. On being ushered to our table I was pleased to have been offered without request, what I considered to be the best table being by the window at one end with no chatter behind me, enabling the hearing of my partner. There on the table waiting was a decanter containing my wine selection so I very much appreciated the time I'd waited in the lounge had been used to properly decant and prepare the wine at optimum temperature. From the pre-starter amuse-bouche to the final petits fours the meal was exquisite. Extremely smooth, delicate & very tasty.

Very disappointing! Made a reservation back in December for a January lunch in the restaurant. Received a phone call prior to our visit to inform me that the restaurant would be closed and it would be food served in the lounge area! I was not impressed and reiterated that I had booked the restaurant! On arrival the hotel was pretty deserted; we were asked if we wanted the restaurant which we did. My guest heard the chef swear in the public area! The lunch was expensive and average quality. Will not be revisiting!

As always the service was impeccable, the food delicious and the ambiance perfect. However, unlike previous occasions we missed the dish of olives and nibbles with our pre-meal drinks. We also missed the pre-meal small dish of appetisers served in the lounge prior to joining the dining room. While our meal was perfection on a plate we missed the small dish of petit four usually served with our coffee. Despite these omissions we enjoyed our visit and assumed savings were being made!

We throughly enjoyed our food and the ambiance of the dining room and hotel, however we were expecting the usual lunch menu and not the taster menu. This was not clear on the website when we booked. We did however think the taster menue excellent value for such excellence.

The meal was excellent and good value. My slight reservations were that I had to keep reminding them I was gluten intolerant. They got it in the end but I had disclosed this when making the reservation. I had also told them in advance that it was my wife’s birthday and our wedding anniversary. There was no acknowledgment of this, don’t expect much, but even a congratulation would have been nice.

Everything was delicious on the Festive Tasting Menu with the exception of the main meal . We were all disappointed with the turkey roll , which was a lot of stuffing and not much turkey, also salty and tough . The parsnips were not edible as they looked like they had just seen a blow torch and not much else . All the other courses were outstanding. A proper slice of turkey would have been perfect
