Using the best of local and seasonal British ingredients to create sumptuous Modern European dishes, Buckle and Vaughan is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner, with a bar area for drinks and cocktails.

We offer a varied menu, showcasing a range of modern European favourites, all made from ingredients of the highest quality.

Be sure to check out our Lunch Menu, priced at £18.90 for two courses, or £23.90 for three courses, available Monday to Friday, 12pm-4pm

Four of us had the set lunch menu. Good value and good choice. Not just the usual set menu staples. We had a table by the window as requested. Excellent service. Not too busy. Great choice for a late lunch.

Buckle & Vaughan is a local gem. Great atmosphere, really good food that is reasonably priced given the quality and friendly enthusiastic young waiting team. We've been many times and will keep going back. Lunchtime's it's even better value

We went for a 40th Ruby wedding anniversary which we advised before we visited. It couldn’t have been better they sorted the best table in the restaurant welcomed my friends who were celebrating which made them feel special. Service was great, food was great and ambience was really good. Couldn’t have asked for better.

On a quiet Tuesday, the service and food was good as always, and we will return, but as an couple we would prefer the volume of the music aligned to number of diners.
