Welcome to Bugis Kitchen, where we pay homage to the legendary hawker stands on Singapore's Bugis Street.

Bugis Street's history dates back to the early 19th
century when it was primarily a residential area
inhabited by the Bugis people, seafaring traders from
the Indonesian island of Sulawesi. The Bugis were
known for their maritime skills and played a significant
role in trade across Southeast Asia.
Today, Bugis Street continues to thrive as a dynamic
shopping and entertainment district in Singapore. It is
home to modern malls. boutiques, restaurants, and
bars, offering a mix of traditional and contemporary
experiences. The area has retained it cultural charm
while embracing urbanisation and modernity.

Excellent service from Bebe and Sandeep. The food was very good . The service from them was incomparable, Bebe even made some recommendations that were up to expectations. I felt very good in their company.

We went there for our Christmas Do but we wanted to be more intimate rather than party atmosphere. We requested a round table to suit the 8 of us which they kindly accommodated. The chef came out at the end of the meal to greet us and ask us about the food which was totally unexpected and a nice touch.

Myself and my mum had a lovely meal, the food and service in the restaurant is always 10/10, we always pop in for our favourite hot and sour soup when we stay over at the Copthorne. Looking forward to next time!

THE FOOD AND SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT, THE ONLY DOWNSIDE WAS THE MENU HAD LIMITED CHOICE

Genuine south eastst asian cuisine. Great food. Service is better than before but can still get better.

We used to enjoy the food at this hotel. We booked and when we arrived there was no one at the restaurant to greet us. We had to get the security man to find someone so we could get our food order in! Food quality has definitely deteriorated. Very disappointing!

Unfortunately not the best experience. Staff didn't have a clue what they were doing. Food came out in all different order. Curry came but no rice to eat it with for another 15mins. By then cold. They seemed like they were all new, none of them knew anything about the dishes. Some were rude if you asked them anything. Just seemed like they didn't want to be there. Been before 10years ago good was still about the same. But the service was non existing. Which had an impact on the food as u can't have a curry without the rice. By then was cold. The starters came with no sauces. When I asked for the sauce with the spring rolls. She asked me back what do you want. I'm like spring rolls come with sweet chilli sauce. She looked clueless. Personally the food was nice tasting let down by the service and staff.
