Celebrated for its Argentinian-inspired bohemian design and sophisticated flavors, Búho is a sultry, modern rooftop lounge.

DIRECTIONS: Please enter through our valet Porte Cochere (parking is discounted for Búho customers) off of Church Street in Uptown Charlotte, NC.

DRESS CODE: Elegant, stylish and sophisticated interiors invite our guests to experience a journey to Argentina through bohemian design, unique flavors and curated music. As we desire to maintain an elevated experience for all of our guests, we encourage business casual clothing and do not allow hats in any outlet of our hotel after 6PM.

Unfortunately this time around the experience wasn’t so great. After spending $100 for myself an another to be told that we could not sit at the first come first serve bar because the bartender wanted to give the seat to someone else I was appalled. Secondly to bypass us with champagne then come around to I say you were all out before the toast was pretty disappointing. Not cool.

NYE “Experience” was a flop. Not worth $100 for a 2 top reservation. No champagne toast as promised or any other party favor or ambiance. DJ missed the actual NYE countdown. No view of fireworks. Sat at a table for 2 hours, there was no table service (despite the place only being marginally busy). They only had 3 bartenders so it was too backed up to ever hope to get a drink. Then they shut the bar down at 12:30, telling folks the downstairs bar was open til 2am, but when you got there it was also closed.

We went for NYE and only got a table outdoors and it was cold with only one tall heater working- too far from our table. We ended up standing by the bar inside so could not order food. The wait staff was nice and we enjoyed the decor.

The DJ couldn’t read the room. No one was dancing or moving to his play list. It was an older crowd and he played mostly electronica music.

Spent New Year's Eve at Buho Bar and had a great time. Our server Maya did a great job all night and our drinks were excellent. We had the grilled chicken skewers which weren't bad, and the party favors made the New Year's party a lot of fun.

Buho is a lovely spot and this was overall a great evening. However they were for sure understaffed. We were there from 9pm to midnight but only managed to be able to order two rounds of drinks. I think I only saw one waiter the whole night working the entire room. I could be wrong, and it wasn’t his fault. They just needed more people.
