Buona Forchetta Encinitas, our third location, blends award winning Neapolitan-style pizzas and Northern Italian upscale entrees in a family-friendly, approachable space. Located in Encinitas, this location boasts a indoor seating as well as an outside patio and a small room for private events. Inside, a gilded oven churns out classic creations, while the main kitchen serves up chef-driven pastas and entree dishes. Owner Matteo Cattaneo brought the Italian warehouse-style eatery to life.

Perfect place for a low key date night. Arguably the best pizza on the coast highway. Salads are huge and tasty. Servers are friendly and professional.

A nice, relaxed vibe as always, but the quality of the food seems to still be declining. Once it was great Italian food, now it's just average. I'm not sure if prices have gone up, but the quality, attention to detail, and even the portion sizes have gone down. But there's nothing wrong with this place that a little more creativity and generosity can't fix!

Great service, host and servers were very friendly! Ordered 2 pizzas and 3 pastas. Both Pizzas (giulia and Martina) were delicious and 1 pasta (gnocchi special) was worthy of reordering

We celebrated our brothers birthday. It was a quiet weekday afternoon. There was also a party of 10 but the noise level never changed. Food was delicious as ever. Only one waiter but he managed the entire room perfectly. The busboy was also excellent. Love this quaint authentic Italian gem in Leucadia. We will return again & again!!!

The menu was good for a large party (even with picky eaters). It was my birthday and they brought out a dessert for me!

We had to wait 1/2 hour on our table. The chicken parm was so tough I could not eat it. The calamari was very greasy . We should have been warned that the salads were enormous and enough to share. The bread was unremarkable. The atmosphere was intolerably loud. We'll never go back

The food was great, the waiter was great. - The manager for the evening made my party and I feel uncomfortable. We will be back but just an odd night. Typically it’s not like that
