   Always amazing! My sister and nephew came to visit from out of town and they were blown away by their delicious food and great, heart warm service.

   Wonderful dinner... the Sottoterra salad with carrots, fennel, parsnip, onions, mixed greens, goat cheese was over the top delicious followed by the yummy gnocchi special with sausage, mushrooms & cream sauce for me and boccatelli pasta with carbonara sauce for my husband. Great service by Alex. We'll be back soon.

   Had a lovely Valentine’s Day experience! They had roses on each table in an empty wine bottle as decor. They were busy but the service was amazing as usual.

   Fabulous restaurant! Excellent food, ambience and service. Highly recommend! The pizza is authentic & amazing, the seafood delicious and everything is fresh. Great for a date night or a meal with friends. Nice wine selection too!

   This year, we celebrated Valentine’s Day on this trending Italian restaurant in San Clemente. My general impression is just oK. Having lived in Italy for 5 long years, I would say it is not what I expected. Definitely, it is not an authentic Italian cooking. We ordered seafood pasta and carbonara, which are our favorites. Unfortunately, the pasta carbonara is too fatty and has a very thick sauce. With my wife’s order, she was happy with it. In regards to the price, it is pricey. I don’t understand why there’s extra charge for the type of pasta you like. Like for the carbonara ($18) or seafood ($35) there is an additional cost of $3 or more, depending on the kind of pasta you like. Really!? I understand if the charge is for gluten-free or vegan type of pasta. But we asked the regular pasta, that goes with our order. Yet, we’ve been charged. Not very happy with it. Anyways, it was a pleasant date for us, though it could have been better. For those who want to try this restaurant, enjoy your meal and good luck with your bill. Buon apetito!

    My husband and I enjoyed our first experience at Buona Forchetta. It was Valentine’s Day. We had a reservation and were seated immediately. They had an Italian nonalcoholic beer for us to try that wasn’t on the menu. My husband loved the generous bowl of cioppino. I loved the vegan pizza I selected from three options. We eveb share a vegan pannacotta with very smooth and delicious decaf coffee. The restaurant was almost full but we could easily hear each other in relaxed conversational tones. Five stars! We’ll be back!
