(Online reservations for 5 or more, please call us)** 2 hour min required for Pre Count Basie show reservations. The classy and elegant Buona Sera is located in Red Bank area of New Jersey. The dining room is gorgeous with carefully planned details and decorations that add a sense of refinement to the restaurant. You can also host an event or party in the Wine Cellar or Tuscan Room. Catering services can be ordered for in-house reservations as well as for outside events.

Buona Sera is a full service bar and restaurant, and our menu is quite extensive, giving you a lot of lunch and dinner options to choose from. Start off with one of the large and flavorful appetizers, then continue to the main course. Entrées at Buona Sera include pasta, veal, choice steaks, chicken, pork chops, various types of ravioli and seafood. Veal chops from this restaurant are some of the most popular dishes on the menu and are worth trying.

    Came for dinner tonight before George Thorogood concert at Count Basie, was looking forward to a nice meal with my son . We were encouraged to order a lot of food, appetizers came and each were enough for four persons , and very mediocre. When we saw how much food had come asked to cancel additional side of meatballs with our main course, was told not possible , no reason but said ok. Main course pastas came and they were really poor , mushy, flavorless . Told waitress who told owner . Owner came to out table with huge attitude , his place is the best etc… told him in a non confrontational way what we thought of the food and he became extremely aggressive , his place is the best been in biz 40 years etc , asked me to step outside and fight him , then told us to get out . All this in front of my son . I asked him if he wanted me to pay or just leave , of course he said pay. Worst dining experience I have ever had in Red Bank, arrogant owner who could not listen to constructive criticism. I have been in restaurant biz in NYC for going on 40 years , never been treated , or treated anyone , in such an arrogant , aggressive manner . Will never go back there.Oh and in case I didn’t stress it enough food is just simply terrible

    We made a reservation way ahead of time because we were attending a show later. The clams casino were the best we’ve ever tasted! Also the veal parmigiana was excellent! Would definitely go back!

    BEAUTIFULLY decorated; AMAZING appetizers - Filet Mignon Braciole, Clams Casino & Stuffed Artichoke; incredible FRESHLY made Tortellini & Perciatelli (Bucatini) Carbonara dishes & DELICIOUS Tiramisu with Espresso Martini to close! The servings are BIG too so bring your appetite! Be ready for the wine menu! It’s MASSIVE!! Our server was Rob & he was great! It was our first time there so he gave us time to savor the experience! We will DEFINITELY be back! A MUST visit! Buona Appetito!!

    The service was impeccable. The food amazing. With the portions of food received, we were able to bring enough home for our dinner the next day. This was an experience to never forget. We will be back and be sure to let everyone know of Buona Sera.

    Went for a pre-show dinner. We told the waiter and he made sure the dinner was served quickly and attentively. Excellent food and atmosphere. Just a few steps from the venue too. We’ll be back!
