   Was in town for work this weekend. I always make it a point to get together with my father when I’m here. We both love a good steak. Everything was great this visit. We were seated within a few minutes of arriving. Service was great. Our waitress let us know of possible delays with baked potatoes and returned a few minutes later relaying the chef said everything would come out together with no delays. Our filets were perfectly cooked. The service from sitting down to walking out was perfect giving us a great visit together.

   Service was very slow for our party of 7. We order 4 onion soup and all were cold. The soup and salad were served the same time with the entrees. No one care to ask or to check if we needed anything. 2 steaks entrees were on the medium rare vs medium and one is medium well. One steak was taken back to be cook on the grill and came back still rare. The quality of food and service is not the same. Most likely will not come back and will not recommended to our friends.

   Can’t beat the prime rib sandwich with duck fat fries! Unless you’re really hungry, it’s two meals easy.

   The Butcher Shop gives a great feeling of eating in an old school steakhouse. Jaquelyn was our servicer, she was excellent, very attentive and had wonderful recommendations. My filet was cooked to a perfect medium rare. The sides, salad, garlic bread and dessert were exquisite. All in all we were both extremely impressed after leaving our dinner.

   The food was great, lamb chops delicious and everything else ordered by our group if 4 was very tasty. However, when paying fine dining prices, the quality of the service should compliment the food. Our server was immature and not polished. Our apps came out before our cocktails and the bar ran out of martini glasses. No one cleared our dinner plates or remaining appetizer and salad plates even after we we brought to go boxes. I had to request our table be cleared. The server was going to offer dessert while our table was a mess. We ordered the bread pudding and it was cold but ate because the server didn't come back to ask how it was. They make their female servers wear tiny buttcheek skirts and push up tops which in my opinion is not a worthy distraction from unprofessional, lack luster service for the price of the menu.

   The prime rib was overrated and too tough for my liking. They charge too much for average prime rib. The service was excellent though.

    The best lobster bisque I’ve ever had. The waitress could’ve been more attentive did not ask if we wanted a second round of drinks
