   Agedashi tofu was crazy good. Probably the best I’ve ever had. The wagyu steak was good and soft. The toothfish was good, but overall rice was a bit flavourless, or maybe the other food was so tasty, this was a bit of a letdown. Overall still really good

   My friends and I had a great time at By Sang. The food was delicious and the service was attentive. The stand out dish to me is the dry aged duck. It was full of unami. We also enjoyed the chirashi donburi with the fresh seafood and also the fact we can make our own hand sushi with the seaweed sheets.

   We returned to this fabulous venue after our first visit which was only a week earlier. This time we brought the family. If possible the welcome was even warmer and felt very personal. The food was once again outstanding. We tried a few different dishes and shared everything across the table. The Toothfish and Wagu were amazing and the duck and salmon were once again a hit. Definitely a winner with the family and somewhere we will be returning to frequently.

   Our first visit to this resturant and it was a wonderful experience. The greeting was warm and friendly. The service was thoughtful and attentive all of the staff were delightful. Great choices of dishes or a tasting menu. The cocktails were perfect The oysters and the sashimi made a great start you could taste the ocean through the delicate dressing on the oysters We had the aged duck and salmon to share as mains both were amazing. Finishing with creme brûlée and ice cream both of which were wonderful. Definitely a place to come back too.

   Dishes were well done and presented and enjoyed by everyone. The main cooked salmon dish was a bit "fishy" for 2 of us. But a pleasant dinner overall. Only opened for dinner and not for lunch.

   Love By Sang! Our son requested to celebrate his birthday here and we had a wonderful meal. The nigiri selection is on point, with the freshest produce. Still dreaming of the uni nigiri, how sweet and delicate it is. Tamago nigiri is like a pillow of fluffiness, almost like a chiffon cake. Highlight is the donabe esp on a cold winter night. The wagu beef melts in your mouth whilst the eel was crispy and charred perfectly to contrast with the ikura and softness of the rice. We also love the baby corn tempura - perfection. Great wine and sake list. Everything on the menu has been created and chosen with purpose and perfection. One of our favourite places in Sydney and we travel across town happily and with eagerness.

   A group of us had an amazing dining experience at by sang. Distinctively better in both quality and taste wise compare to some high-end fancy restaurants and it doesn’t even cost that much. The service was warm and faultless. Cocktails were delicious especially the yuzu one and the wine list was extensive and great for such a small local restaurant. The corkage was a bit expensive so we didn’t bring our own bottle and it was a good decision indeed. Wines are very reasonably priced. Cannot recommend high enough. We are still talking about it today and can’t wait to go back soon. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience team!

    Lovely restaurant and the waitress was very friendly and helpful. We got the sharing menu for 2 and a sake pairing. Very good portions. We were very full and satisfied afterwards. I thoroughly enjoyed the sake pairing with the food.
