We enjoyed our dinner and ambiance. We had burgers with sides. The burgers and fries were very good but the Caesar salad was average. The lettuce was aged a bit with the pink and brown tips. We also enjoyed our wine choice.

Great brunch. Went southern and had the fried chicken, mash potatoes, and coleslaw. Biscuit was a little hard. Wife had the French onion quiche. Nice and fluffy. Looked like a piece of cheesecake. Had kamato oysters and pimento cheese with homemade pickles. Everything was outstanding. The live jazz made for the perfect brunch. Our bartender provided excellent service. Did a great job controlling the flow of food. Great beignets!

One of four meals was adequate at our table. One steak was underdone; two were overcooked. Our waiter was not very attentive; we had to ask for our waters to be refilled twice during the meal.

Very disappointing experience. My wife’s wagu steak was not good. It was grisly, not fatty. She could not eat most of it. She advised the server, but the server just said sorry and did not replace the steak. The rest of the meal was ok. We ordered cocktails. My wife ordered vodka tonic and we were charged $4 for the tonic. I ordered bourbon and coke on the rocks and was charged $6 for the coke. Maybe the bartender did not know how to serve mixed drinks…really. C. Ellets was a bad dining experience, especially for the cost. We will not be back, just a touristy money-grab.

Our steak was overcooked and replaced with an undercooked (basically raw) steak. The second steak was reheated and returned overcooked, about 45 minutes after we initially received our food. We were left waiting for almost everything we ordered. The dessert, which was comped, was extremely delayed. The rest of our food and drinks were fine.

This place will never get another dime from me! Management terribly mismanaged my table by sitting us at a tiny table by the kitchen. When asked to move multiple times they refused even though all of the tables around me were empty. I couldn’t understand why they wouldn’t move us when many other couples were sitting at 4 top tables. We would’ve gone somewhere else but it was Valentine’s Day and I couldn’t get another reservation last minute. After ordering almost $350 worth of food that came on many plates, we are sitting with barely any room to eat. Our table was so small and with the items we ordered the waiter had to bring us smaller plates and take everything else off of the table just to get our order on the table. I’ve never been this uncomfortable at any table anywhere in Atlanta! As the other guests start to arrive I started to notice a pattern. I was thoroughly shocked to see that some people got small tables by the kitchen and other people (guess who) got larger tables and more desirable seating. The couples that sat around me didn’t even order much food. One couple got cheeseburgers and they shared an appetizer of french fries. But guess what all of them had in common? They are all something that I am not. This ruined the entire experience for us, and we knew we would never go back to this restaurant even if the food was incredible. So out came the food!! Guess what? Everything was bland, most items seemed rushed and possibly reheated excluding the steak, which was not cooked how we requested. I would like to give praise to my waiter though, he did a wonderful job and was rewarded handsomely. Summary: The food was bland and expensive. I can spend $350 plus tip at any other steakhouse in Atlanta and be treated better and have a way better time. Also, this place has time limits on their tables so you won’t be able to stay here too long. No thanks!
