Anything grilled is "divine" and the rest of the menu is "delectable" at the "charming" Italian in Santa Barbara known for its "excellent" execution of "simple" pasta, meats and other classics plus a "fantastic" wine list with many available by the glass; it's a local "favorite", so reservations are a must.

The dining experience was disappointing. The pizza was undercooked, overly soft, and lacked any crispiness. The beetroot risotto was bland, undercooked, and visually unappealing. The ravioli lacked flavor, and the sauce was broken due to excessive fat. I was served the wrong wine, which added to the frustration. The bruschetta was the best dish of the night, but it still felt like it was missing something to elevate it. Service was chaotic and inattentive. I had high expectations for the experience, but overall, it fell short—I wouldn’t recommend it.

It was Valentine's Day so the restaurant was packed and noisy. Normally I would have liked a quieter setting but the energy added to the fun. We were seated next to the kitchen and it was interesting to watch the controlled chaos required to prepare all the food orders and get them served to the customers. The food was very tasty and the service by Loni was great. All in all a wonderful time!

First time at this restaurants and they did NOT disappoint, got my table on time and food came in an timely manner for how busy they were. Overall was amazing service and great food. Thank you for everyone who works there and how hard they work.

Our go to restaurant whenever we visit our daughter at UCSB, great service and food.

Excellent experience, as always. Business dinner, so appreciated the combination of lively atmosphere with attentive but not overbearing service.

Birthday dinner. Waiters were very attentive. Was busy for a Tuesday night and they were attending to a very large party next to us. Tristian was great! The staff was nice and made sure we had enough drinks and bread. Will need to go back to try more dishes. Small cons- the mix fried seafood app- batter needs a little more seasoning, the size of the shrimp, scallops, and calamari were pretty small. The tartar sauce was good. I ordered the rib eye with roasted potatoes, beets, and spinach. Steak was perfectly cooked. Wish I had a little more potatoes and beets. Didn’t care for the spinach. My friend ordered Chicken in terracotta clay pot with grilled polenta. She liked it. I tried some was very well seasoned and I’m not a fan of polenta but the grilled polenta was good. For dessert- tiramisu was good! Would recommend them to add a topping such as a caramel candy crumble.

Been a long time fan of the Santa Barbara location. This was our first time in Goleta and it was fantastic. Love the added pizza offerings in the menu so our kids have something to eat. I got the special thin pasta with shrimp and scallops in saffron cream sauce. It was delicious. Pasta done perfectly and sauce was creamy and tasty. Shrimp and scallops were small though. Husband got the ravioli and it’s just as good as I remembered it from 15 years ago. Pizza was also great. Please please open up a restaurant in the Bay Area/ South Bay.
