My boyfriend and I went here to celebrate New Year's Eve, and it was a fantastic experience! Sam made us an amazing drink that we absolutely loved. The F&B Manager, Alejandra, was incredibly professional and sweet—she even surprised us with a small discount at the end, which was such a thoughtful gesture. Our server, Michael, was also excellent and provided great service throughout the evening. The live music was out of this world—it truly felt like we were in Hollywood! Overall, it was a magical night, and we can’t wait to visit again!"

We went to Cabana Cove restaurant to celebrate a friend's birthday with a dinner treat. We enjoyed the holiday dinner menu, which offered good value (especially the ceviche) and excellent service. My friend was craving chips and salsa, which weren’t on the menu, but manager Alejandra surprised us by having the chef prepare them for us. And the best part? They didn’t even charge us for it. We ended up having the New York strip and halibut, though we weren’t impressed with the dessert selection. The staff were fantastic and paid extra attention to our needs. We’re from SoCal and will definitely return the next time we’re in town.

I recently stayed at the Cabana Hotel in Palo Alto and had breakfast at their Canaba Cove restaurant. I ordered the egg white omelet, which was made to perfection—light and fluffy! They offer two options for breakfast: an a la carte menu and an all-you-can-eat buffet, catering to every preference. A delightful start to my stay!

When I arrived I was greeted by a male server at the podium who was very nice. I was meeting a business partner for breakfast. I was pleasantly surprised by the buffet offerings, various breakfast cereals, warm oatmeal with choice of toppings: brown sugar, nuts, raisins, and there were eggs, sausage, pancakes, sliced fresh fruit. The is also a menu with about 6 to 8 breakfast entrees but I did not order from the menu. All the coffee and OJ I could drink. By the end I was pleasantly full and ready to take on the day's work. My business partner ordered the omelet and it was very large, a good value for the price. The buffet price was $23.95.

Very nice place to go after the workday. What really makes it special is the people. Sam the bartender was such a good guy to talk to and he makes a great cocktail. Place is a little older but has charm.

If zero stars were an option, I'd give it. One would assume that a restaurant in an international hotel chain would be a safe, solid choice for a business lunch. One would be wrong. When we arrived, there were two other (solo) diners in the restaurant, and the server (bartender?) seemed confused about the drink options they could offer. I should have trusted my gut then and suggested our table of 4 go somewhere else. Alas, the service was painfully slow, even for soft drinks and water, and we soldiered on. After one hour and 10 minutes, only two of us had received entrees (burgers and fries), and the other two of us continued to wait. One of us finally got a club sandwich, in which she found a bread clip (the thing that closes a bag of bread). The other of us never got any food at all -- because I was informed (after waiting 1h15) that indeed they didn't have the entree I chose (despite it being just 1 of 5 things on the lunch menu). Instead of waiting longer, we opted to just leave -- but not before the manager insisted that we come back again and get 1/2 off our meal.

I’m so glad we made it in for happy hour! Bar snacks and specialty cocktails all 50% off! What a steal! We shared the Grilled Octopus, Tostones with a delicious Mojo Verde Sauce, and the beef Tallow French fries. They have a beautiful courtyard where we enjoyed the Whiskey Ginger Cove and Sweet & Smokey cocktail. Cocktails and food were full of flavor and perfect for the evening. Thank you to the bartender for the recommendations! We decided to stay for dinner and their 28 Day Dry Aged Ribeye did not disappoint! Highly recommend if you decide to dine here! My date had the Cabaña burger with French fries. Both cooked perfectly medium rare. Will definitely be back!

I stopped there for a quick lunch with a business colleague during an event in Los Altos. Service was excellent, friendly and attractive- and, our server was amazing. I had a cabana burger and my colleague had a lemon garlic pasta with salmon and they both were outstanding. They were also very kind to offer us complimentary soft drinks. We will definitely return for their new happy hour cocktails.

We found out only after arriving for our reservations that due to a show happening at the hotel, the restaurant was not serving off the menu, but having a buffet instead. Two pasta dishes, gluey mashed potatoes, salmon piccata that was decent and well done prime rib. I could deal with their thought process that there would be so many people eating there that a buffet would be easier (the restaurant barely was half full), but what was very annoying was the 20% gratuity they automatically tacked on for a buffet!!! And unfortunately, there was no other place to eat. FYI, the buffet was already $55, so with tax and the 20% the entire bill was $72.00. … for a $25.00 meal.
