Perched atop the Hoxton Hotel in the heart of Chicago’s Fulton Market, Cabra Chicago is a lively rooftop escape, inspired by the bold and vibrant flavors of Peruvian cuisine.

Led by James Beard Award and Top Chef winner Stephanie Izard (Girl & the Goat) alongside longtime partners Rob Katz and Kevin Boehm of Boka Restaurant Group, Cabra serves up crave-worthy dishes in a colorful and energetic setting.

The restaurant’s airy, plant-filled ambiance, paired with its open kitchen and sweeping city views, creates a dynamic dining experience. Guests can savor a variety of shareable plates, from ceviches to savory meats, all bursting with the rich, fresh flavors of Peru.

Great food & fun atmosphere! Service was a little slow but better than last time. Covered terrace has great views but temp kept shifting b/t warm (with all heaters on) & breezy/cool (breeze coming from somewhere?!) Overall, great place! Will def go again!!

I enjoyed my dinner but the portions were very small, the service was very fast .. but very loud, the bar area was full of people from the St.Patricks day celebrations.

This is one of the most mediocre meals I’ve had in Chicago. It feels like Izard has been stretched a bit thin and even with the best ideas has landed on just ok flavors and a pale attempt at “Peruvian”. Expensive and not worth it…more of a scene now and is ridiculously loud.

Was perfect. Cabra is always amazing. These Boots are made for Oaxacan is a stellar cocktail and all of the food was super on point. Servers and bussers are really attentive too.

Food was delicious. Shrimp, steak saltada, green beans were all amazing. Pisco sour was perfect. Service: long stretches w/o attention. Asked if we wanted a second drink literally after all plates were cleared. Knew it was a special event and sat us at a really unfavorable table. Food was great, and a cool spot with a great views but the general experience was forgettable.

Our favorites were the beef and the chicken empanadas. Calamari was great, as were the ceviches and peppers. Beautiful, lively place with spectacular views of the city.
