Perched atop the Hoxton Hotel in the heart of Chicago’s Fulton Market, Cabra Chicago is a lively rooftop escape, inspired by the bold and vibrant flavors of Peruvian cuisine. Led by James Beard Award and Top Chef winner Stephanie Izard, alongside longtime partners Rob Katz and Kevin Boehm of Boka Restaurant Group, Cabra serves up crave-worthy dishes in a colorful and energetic setting. This is the fourth time we I have come to Cara in the past 12 months. The quality of the food has dropped significantly. Something has changed with either the.l chef, the method of preparation or the care they are taking to prepare the food. Not as tasty as it was and not as fresh as it was in previous visits.

The food here is amazing!! We order the avocado dip, chorizo queso dip, salchipapas, goat empanadas, salmon ceviche, and steak saltado! Everything was delicious, food exceeded expectations. The ambience and service was great! I felt transported to somewhere warm and out of wintery chicago.

Food was good the place didn’t exactly look Peruvian and the dishes are tapa like, bigger portions would be better for the price given. We ordered shrimp ceviche and the majority were carrots and three little shrimps. Cocktails were really good.

Amazing food, amazing service, couldn’t have asked for a better Valentine’s Day experience. Stephanie Izard is simply an amazing chef. If she has a restaurant, I’m there. It’s that simple.

Our server was lovely, she was friendly and helpful. The food was also amazing, we were continuously surprised by the all the flavor profiles in all the dishes. Will definitely be back!

Food was incredible but they forgot it was a birthday celebration (on both occasions in which my friends celebrated their birthdays)
