   Went for midweek lunch. Warm greeting and a good looking room. Offered a range of menus from brunch, set lunch and a la carte. We went for ALC although the set lunch has plenty of options. Wine list is serviceable and reasonable by the glass options. Food accurately cooked and well presented. Good size portion meant that a starter and main left me struggling for space. We declared it a a successful choice. The bill was 10% below my expectations which is always a good sign. This is a well run, ambitious kitchen serving very good food. It deserves your consideration as a mid-weeker, brunch stop and evening out. I understand they don’t struggle to fill Sundays.

   We had a fantastic meal the only thing that put us off and thought a bit too much was the 15% service charge making it a whopping £49 tip

   We have been to Caesars many times before but this was the 1st time we ate the Sunday Roast. As normal the food was of the highest standard with service to match

    One of the best lunches we have had in Essex this year. There was an excellent range of choices on the menu, including some local or more unusual offerings, which was much appreciated. The food was obviously very fresh, and we particularly admired the superb sauces with the items we chose for our main course. Service was friendly and attentive but not pushy, and there was plenty of car parking. We were very happy with our meal and shall return.
