Waiter was amazing. I couldn't decide what to have and he took over. Our meals were delicious ( how do you get your pasta to stay so hot). Ambience was romantic as well. I will definitely return.

Arrived 15 minutes before our reservation and was told to return in 30 min because they were running behind due to NYE. When we returned, hostess tried to sit us at a table in the back but was told to move us to a table in the front. We sat down, were given menus and then we were told to move yet again to a table in another room in the back that was not yet set for dinner service. Restaurant was very busy but they did not offer to comp us anything and were treating other guests like an inconvenience. Waiters and bus people did a nice job considering the overcrowded situation. They also had a limited menu which we were not told about beforehand but they did accommodate a special request (lasagna). Food was delicious but we will not be back during special events.

not the best place to go for New years eve VERY loud but I think on any other day would be just fine. Food was good wine list great.

One of the best restaurants in Sarasota no doubt, and has been for years. I always enjoy my dinner, and the cozy atmosphere that is very welcoming. Delicious food, and great service.

I took my family of 10 for New Years Eve dinner here. The restaurant was full, we were seated on time, our service was excellent with the cooperation of several servers. Food was well prepared and delicious as usual. My wife is a vegetarian and they didn't have an option on the limited menu that night, but the server was able to get her a very nice vegetarian dish. Excellent service!!

We have visited this great Italian restaurant over the years. They are still on their game. We had a great night of talking and eating. Great place to go in downtown Sarasota.

Dinner at Cafe Amici was another wonderful experience. Living downtown, it is one of our favorites. The menu is wonderful, with a broad selection. I had the eggplant rotini for an appetizer and for my entree the Osso Bucco. Both were excellent. My companion had the shrimp & crab with pasts which she thoroughly enjoyed. The service is excellent and the food presented well and with good portions. Cafe Amici, has been a mainstay on Main Street for decades and our experience proves they will continue for decades to come.
