Busy on a Friday lunchtime but good service and the food ( I had fish & chips ) was great .. very fresh and good quality I’d definitely recommend and we will visit again soon

Lovely food, good service and nice atmosphere. Not too noisy so great for a catch up lunch with a friend. Reasonably priced too. I would recommend.

Lovely food and great service. Would recommend the crispy Korean chicken. Will definitely return.

A real hidden gem, it's best to book ahead though. Lovely atmosphere, nothing too much trouble for the staff. although the cafe is small, we did not fell under any pressure to leave, even after 2 hours catching up with a friend!

It is always a great lunch experience, super food and lovely wine. Staff are always attentive and helpful.

The popcorn shrimp was not crispy, fries very oily and our fish was over cooked. Very disappointing

We only had drinks, so I can’t comment on the food…..but your survey wouldn’t let me complete without giving a food rating. So I gave one star just to be able to move on. It would be helpful to give an extra question regarding food or drink

I’m disappointed to have to write this, however. When I visit Cafe Clo I had a table booked. It was 9.30am so we were the first customers in there. There was 3 of us in my party. When our order was taken the younger lady wrote everything down infront of us (including the mushroom dish) we had ordered 2 glasses of fizz and an extra glass so we could share the 2 glasses among 3 of us as we were driving. When we finally got the 3rd glass as we had to re-ask due to it being forgotten, it was dirty with lipstick marks. Then our food was served. May I add the food was of a high standard. However, the mushroom dish was handed over , it wasn’t mushroom it was chicken. When asked for it to be removed and for what we ordered to come the lady was defensive and trying to convince us to keep the dish. This wasn’t going happen due to the fact mushroom was ordered as one of us was vegetarian!! We were then told we would have to wait for it to be re-cooked’ if we still wanted it!!! So that was a 15 minute wait which meant 2 of us had to start eating. When we settled the bill the mushroom was rightly so taken off the bill. The funniest part was when the lady decided to comment that she had also taken the chicken off the menu and that I didn’t need to pay for that either. (Well I would have hoped so as I didn’t even order it!) I still had to pay a £3.50 service chance he thought didn’t I!! What a shame, it’s a lovely setting but please train your staff better as your store is lovely and it’s really letting everything down.
