   Celebrated our anniversary here and we were extremely satisfied with our experience. The menu had lots of great options and clearly designated which items were vegan & vegetarian. We were thrilled they had vegan options for appetizers, entrees, and desert. The service was top notch; we felt extremely welcome from the moment we walked in and all of the servers were prompt, even going as far to fill our wine glasses for us. The food was delicious and innovative. It was the perfect romantic setting for our anniversary and I’d highly recommend this wonderful restaurant to anyone looking to fine dine for a great price.

   Amazing restaurant, incredible staff,good wine list, tremendous food. Ambiance for miles. Just a winner. Named one of Detroit's 10 most romantic restaurants (that's how I found it). Pricy (80/per) but reliably excellent

   First of all, we set reservations for 6 pm. It turned out to be ideal as we beat the crowd. Immediately on entering the restaurant we were graciously greeted and seated at our table. From here on we were well taken care of by the various servers who were very attentive in meeting our needs and yet not intrusive or being obsequious. The service was excellent. The meal started with Muscles, the special Bruschetta of the day and house salad. The entre dishes were pan-seared scallops, a Sea Food Medley with homemade pasta and their special gnocchi dish. The wine was a Ramey Chardonnay. Both the food and wine were excellent, including one of the best tasting muscle dishes I've ever had. The ambiance of the restaurant was perfect. I could not have picked a better location as my son, and I were celebrating my wife's birthday. In summary we had a very enjoyable evening. Our expectations of Cafe Cortina were certainly exceeded.

   Everything was quite good. For the price, my wife’s appetizer and salad were pretty run-of-the-mill, though. The saffron risotto that was served with my braised short rib was also not fully cooked. My complaints are pretty small and it was overall enjoyable, but for the money we spent, I believe it should have been flawless.

   Great food, beautiful venue, incredible staff. Our Host, Mohammed, went out of his way to prepare and organize a private room for me to be able to propose and was as equally enthusiastic about it as I was. Tremendous Valentine’s experience all around.

   Long-term patrons was very disappointed by this experience. Food quality seemed like wedding banquet rather than fine dining service was nearly nonexistent. Aside from the wine service waited 20 minutes to be greeted at the front as a party without a reservation was given precedence and the rest of the evening followed suit and even able to get bread service until nearly dessert And water. Refills were not provided. We have been coming here for 15 years and I don’t think we will be coming back soon.

    The service is top notch. There are very few restaurants with such dedicated and attentive staff. This is where you come in on top. The food is always delicious. We love visiting your establishment.
