   This was our first time dining at Dacha. Our server was excellent, the food was excellent and made for an all around great dining experience. Can’t wait to go back and try other things on the menu.

   This is a real gem. It's the warmest, kindest gift of a restaurant in Highland Park. If you like looking around and feeling like you're in a charming little hamlet a little off the beaten tourist track in Europe, you'll love Cafe Dacha. Bravo!

   Totally enjoyed our dinner and the two waitstaff worked miracles serving as a team the entire restaurant! Food was delicious and well prepared. A great place with lovely people and food

   We were in the Chicago suburbs from out of town and just stumbled across this place because the Eastern European menu looked intriguing. Glad we did! There was a large group at the table next to us, but even so the noise was not overwhelming. The food was delicious (great borscht, and different from what I'm used to), the service was friendly (despite how busy they were), and the ambiance was cozy.

   We were there early (5:30), so it was very quiet. The service was excellent, suggesting various dishes. Everything we had was delicious. Try the Vinegret salad and Lamb Kabab.

   Everything we had was delicious (goulash, fish cakes, a salad) and felt (high quality) homemade. I recommend it highly and can’t wait to return.

    Pickled vege and herring appetizers were good, but Cornish hen and stroganoff were exceptional. Read here to reserve honey cake when give dinner order, and very glad we did as we got the last piece! A true gem, with top food, service, and ambience.
