Plus qu'un restaurant, le Cafe Spice Namaste est une institution culinaire. Il s'agit d'un célèbre restaurant indien, sorte de monument gastronomique appartenant à Cyrus et Pervin Todiwala. Il se trouve à quelques pas de la Tour de Londres. Turn left on to Wallis Walk and right on to Shackleton Way then immediate right towards car park on to Hudson Way. You will see a footbridge at the front. We are exactly across the bridge. The walk should take approximately 4-5 minutes. The Elizabeth Line is now open, making West London feel a lot closer to the Royal Docks. Getting off at Custom House and taking the DLR to Gallions Reach can take between 20 and 40 minutes, depending on where you board. The funds raised will support veterans of His Majesty’s Armed Forces in finding employment. Cyrus, along with Michelin-starred chef Daniel Galmiche and chef Gary Hunter, will prepare a multi-course feast featuring their favourites, accompanied by outstanding wines from Portugal. Limited seats are available, and tickets are just £95, which includes a bubbly reception and dinner with wines. Other drinks and service charges are not included.

The price is just £95, and there will be raffles and auctions to raise even more money for Colonel Tim Coles and his important work. The menu will certainly feature Haggis, and in the 17 years we've hosted this annual supper, we've never failed to satisfy our guests. James has generously donated a couple of special MacSween's CHIEFTAIN HAGGIS for auction. Pipe Major Chic Mackie of HM Blackwatch will play the pipes.

    Every dish is fantastic. Choose what you fancy, and it will be amazing. Cyrus often cooks them himself, and this is a celebrity chef restaurant where the person himself is doing the work and is happy to chat. It is a bonus that it's very reasonably priced. We had a selection of starters and mains; it's some of the best Indian food I've ever had, and I've been to India plenty of times. GO AND EAT HERE! It's much closer than it looks, thank you, Elizabeth line. Put it into City Mapper, and you will be there in a Jiffy. I loved the place on Prescot Street, and this is an even brighter, more modern space.

    Fantastic lunch yesterday. We had the 8 course tasting menu and it really was a good choice. Mrs Todiwala looks after you with such class, and makes you feel like you’re family. Loved how chef Cyrus is so visible preparing your food, and that he is still so passionate about what he does. Quiet in the restaurant today, but enjoyed interacting with Cyrus while he was working. We were very impressed with how he takes the time to come and chat to every table after service. Would love to visit again and highly recommend.

    The best bits about this meal were : the Maitre de - she was very welcoming and helpful, the starters and desert. We would have preferred it if the spice levels were dialled up to traditional Indian taste buds.

    It's a short walk from Gallions Reach. We arrived early but were most welcome. We had a fantastic unhurried meal. Enjoyed the great views of the city and the airport. The service was excellent and the food was fabulous. A great evening overall.

    Great restaurant and service. The food is delicious and location is great. Can be tricky to find so put Shackleton Way in the google maps.

    Second time, certainly will not be the last. The service and food was superb. Mr and Mrs Todiwala served / came and saw us and it was just a lovely evening..recommend it to everyone...

    We went to Cafe Spice Namaste for our wedding anniversary. It was a the perfect evening out. We opted for the 8 course tasting menu and we were not a bit disappointment with any of the courses. The food was so tasty and full of flavour without being spicy hot - just perfect flavours. And the cocktails were great too! Cyrus and Pervin both came over to our table several times during the evening which was a lovely touch. The staff were friendly and attentive. Definitely look forward to visiting again and trying other dishes on the menu, whilst we taking in the wonderful views. Once again thank you for making our anniversary so special.

    We really enjoyed our lunch today. We felt welcome as soon as we entered the restaurant, service was brilliant. And the food was sublime, thank you very much for an enjoyable birthday treat.
