We arrived early for dinner, 5PM, in advance of an event we were attending locally. The restaurant is ‘out of the way’ so quite a treasure to find. The food is Italian and the menu is comprehensive but not extensive. We liked it because of the quality. The antipasti are fresh and well prepared, focaccia is homemade and drenched in olive oil. We shared a linguine a la vongole and were surprised to find homemade pasta (very good). We shared a ‘Brick Pressed half chicken - crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside and it arrived as advertised and was delicious. We each took a glass of Chianti and it did not disappoint. Dessert (shared) and coffees before we were off. The wait staff were attentive, friendly and professional. We enjoyed being recognized from a previous visit last year and promised to return and we will. Highly recommended.

I had been to Caffino once before and enjoyed my meal. We returned for a family dinner and the ambiance, service and quality of food was well worth the visit. Our waiter Daniel was extremely professional and helpful. Each of the seven meals was thoroughly enjoyed. We fully intend to return in the near future.

We have enjoyed the food and the ambience at Caffino for many years. It is a unique place . It was a great venue to celebrate a milestone birthday.

If you are looking for that secret hide away spot close by then Caffino is the answer. The menu is authentic and the food is made with pride. The service and attention to your needs is more than you can expect. The setting is such that you will forget you are in a restaurant that is so close to downtown Toronto. Escape for an evening to Caffino. You will be happy with your decision.

What a warm and welcoming place. Eclectic, cozy decor and really great food/service. Definitely worth trying the generous portion of homemade lasagna!

From the second we arrived at the front door, we were excited about choice to dine there. The atmosphere was out of this world. The staff were all friendly and fun. And then the food, OMG, it was soooo delicious. I can't wait to go back.

We were lucky to get a reservation. Restaurant is not easy to find the first time but I phoned and I was met on the street ( in the cold) by the owner who directed us to free parking just outside. Great personal touch ! We had pasta and pizza- both very flavourful .

The kitchen was understaffed. Most of the menu was unavailable to order. The food was not great and 2 mistakes to our order were made. The table was very small and cramped. I think it’s better suited for a casual, long lunch definitely would never do another business meal there.

Our family had an amazing dining experience at Caffino! The Italian meal was absolutely perfect—authentic, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Osso Bucco was melt in your mouth and the Linguine Alle Vongole was also a favourite. Every dish brought the essence of Italy to the table. Our waiter, Vincenzo, was outstanding. His friendly demeanor and attentive service truly elevated our evening. Highly recommend this place for anyone seeking genuine Italian cuisine.
