Transport yourself into a magical fairytale and prepare for an unforgettable experience. For our savory menu, we offer a lunch and dinner featuring some traditional dishes as well as our signature quiche and chicken salade. Our menu changes seasonally and everything on our menu is house made from scratch daily with our commitment to the highest quality and ingredients. Our full bar offers signature cocktails, Champagne and beer. Delicious three-layer cakes, as well as cheesecakes, pies, cookies, and other desserts fill our elegantly designed display case and are served daily. Gwendolyn's Cake Bake Shop's have become the destination of Indianapolis for celebrating all life's special occasions.

    Typically Cake Bake does an outstanding job with cakes, however this evening, for a special occasion dining, the cake was dry and crumbly much like a cake that is 4 days old. I shared this information with the server and she said that she would have the manager look into it. Not worth the $20 dollars paid for 1 piece of cake.

    Our experience at The Cake Bake Shop was nothing short of fantastic. Don’t let the name fool you, the cake is not the only amazing thing on the menu. Our table had the chicken piccata, ham and Brie sandwich, pick two with the chicken salad croissant and chicken gumbo, and the quiche. All of us had clean plates at the end of our meal, something that rarely happens. The portions were just right, and the meal was complemented well with the lavender lemonade, raspberry champagne cake, and Earl’s cake. Highly recommend this location, had a great experience.

    Always a great experience to have when family is in town. Food and drinks were solid. Service was a little slow and less attentive than usual.

    Always an amazing time at the Cake Bake shop. Enjoyed celebrating my birthday with family and I loved all of the special touches.

    Beautiful restaurant! Our table was ready when we arrived (even a bit early), our server was prompt, friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. Our food was served quickly and was delicious (highly recommend the chicken velvet soup and chicken salad croissant). For dessert, we enjoyed the mint chocolate chip cake, pixie fettu cake and a gluten free brownie. The cakes were very good and beautiful! The brownie flavor wqs fine, not anything special and was served hot (as requested). However, it was so hot I couldn’t eat it at the restraint as it was still hot when others had finished their cake. When I tried to enjoy it at home, it was rock hard (heated much too long). This was my only complaint and everything else’s was great. We will return: hopefully in Disney in a couple of weeks!

    This place is an experience. There's no other restaurant like it in the area. It's magical. The decor is gorgeous. The food is fantastic. It is expensive but the ingredients are all top notch and make the price worth it. This is not just a bakery. The lunch and dinner menu items are delicious. I loved everything about this special place. You should get reservations particularly if you want to go on the weekend. We had the Kir Royal champagne cocktail, truffle pomme frites, lemon piccata, chicken velvet soupe and blackberry avocado salade. Hot chocolate. Earl and millionaire cake. Raspberry champagne macaron. Everything was delicious. Highly recommend.
