   Barbara was SO SWEET and thoughtful. She made my 6 year old’s day with the pixie dusting and candle on her birthday cake. Overall, it was a great experience (as always), but it was my daughter’s first time and it was so special. Thanks so much Cake Bake team!

   As always Cake Bake did not disappoint. Staff was friendly & engaging, menu was diverse enough for all in our party and the desserts.... well amazing! Fun experience and a must reserve when you can.

   I have been to the Cake Bake in Carmel many times. It never disappoints. The broccoli quiche and the truffle fries are the best I have had anywhere.

   Every menu was stained/filthy. The sandwiches were haphazardly thrown together and the crust was way too hard. The salads tasted like there was no dressing on them. The cakes were good, but the slices don’t appear to be as big as they used to be. Two of our friends kept their coats on because it was so cold. We go every year for birthdays. We won’t go back again after this experience.

   When we entered the restaurant and I said my name the young lady said a greeting in a robot fashion and didn’t smile or look at me. The decor, however, is excellent! Our waiter, Donovan, was okay. Smiling. Food was fantastic. I had a broccoli quiche and my husband had a delicious ham and cheese sandwich. Both entrees had a greens side salad. Wonderful. Towards the end of our meal Donovan asked if we would like more ice tea. I said no. Hubby said,”yes, please.” About ten minutes later, another server asked if he could take our plates. Finally, Donovan returned with an ice tea. Hubby requested the bill which was brought promptly. It was not busy.

   Our server Sarah was wonderful! We came to Cake Bake to celebrate my birthday, and she made the experience pleasant and special! Food and cake were great, and the ambience can’t be beat. We’ve been here before and look forward to visiting again!
