   Restaurant is beautiful. Hostess was very friendly. Server greeted us right away but after she took our drink order she was MIA. Appetizers came out before we got our drinks. I noticed that the bottle of wine that we had ordered was sitting at the bar waiting to be delivered to our table for about 15 minutes. Meanwhile, the manager was standing right next to said bottle of wine and chatting away with some ladies at the bar but never thought to deliver it to us, and the bartender never asked him to run the bottle over to us, because he was too busy visiting with the ladies also. Seemed like they could’ve been off the clock employees? One of the girls was vaping inside the restaurant. For the price point, I was disappointed with the service given that the restaurant was pretty dead on a Sunday night. Food was excellent! Definitely more of a club pre funk vibe.

   Beautiful restaurant, great music but food was so-so My hummus was bland and the pita was hard, dry around the edges and plopped on top of the hummus - so it was all goopy. The shrimp cocktail was spiced - it was tough and overcooked.

   We visited Cala for Thanksgiving. We ordered a mix of dishes from both their main menu and their Thanksgiving special. All the food was good. The services was fantastic, our server (Kayla, I think) was incredible as was the rest of the staff. I would have given all 5 stars but I think the food, while it was very good, wasn’t great.

   Food was great. They recommended their special flaming cheese appetizer and it was delicious. The salmon and lamb shank were also delicious. The service was not up to our expectations as there were a lot of staff standing around and our server was too quick to disappear and the appearances in between were spotty. Our expectation would be the staff standing around would be working as a team and this was not the case, not for the price level of this place, we expected better in terms of the service. Compliments to the kitchen, but suggest you get the front of house up to the same level.

   This is the first time I have been to this place . The place is really busy and seems fun for a young crowd. Had the flaming cheese plate which is a tad salty. The Cala salad is not really cohesive and bitter. I ordered the swordfish for some reason flavors are not cohesive. If they can restructure their menu maybe hire someone who can help them this place has promise to last a long time.

   I enjoyed my food and appetizers. Was surprised to find out there is no bread on the menu especially with all the Mediterranean food on the menu. Noise level was so crazy loud would suggest you sit outside.

    The Moroccan chicken was delicious!! The pasta bolognese was incredible and the service was great once we got seated.
