Overall I had a great experience. Definitely a “vibe” place. Lovely setup and service was great! Food tasted amazing and would love to try everything else on the menu. The only thing was that the food I ordered was very oily. Like more than typically it would be at a fine dining restaurant like this. I got the shishito peppers and pork chop and tasted oil/butter more than any of the other actual flavors in the dish. That’s my only critique, overall good experience.

Third time dining at Cala, likely my last. Food is exceptional, my hat is off to the chef. Service is excellent as well. Noise level is very loud making conversation difficult. But, being told while eating our entree that our “time was up” due to a 2 hour limit on our table when we literally just got our entrees totally rude and unacceptable. As a local we have great options. Granted it was Saturday previous times were weekdays but requiring us to abruptly finish our meal “ because it’s our Policy”…we won’t return-that’s our policy! Ended up someplace else for desert and coffee.

The restaurant put us in non ventilated ballroom under the hotel, due to weather. They overbooked. We didn’t stay!

The food was amazing and so is the service. However, I was unfamiliar with the setting and the restaurant was much louder than I thought it would be. Everything else was great.

Muy incomodo por el fuerte viento que había y la gerente no quiso cerrar las ventanas a pesar de que varios se lo pedimos. La comida muy por debajo de lo que un restaurante de este precio debería de ofrecer. No vale la pena en ningún sentido, solo que esta bonito el lugar.

Such a unique dining experience! Beautifully designed and decorated restaurant. I had an exceptional white Pinot noir! Every member of the staff made a point to greet and speak to my husband and myself. The lamb shank was so tender I didn’t need a knife. My husband’s swordfish paella was perfectly cooked and seasoned. We were gifted with a delicious dessert and tabletop fireworks for our Anniversary celebration. We highly recommend this wonderful establishment!
