   I’ve dined here numerous times and I truly love this restaurant. I was excited to go back with my girl for Valentine’s Day. They overbooked tables so we finally sat down about 30-40 min after our reservation time. Not a huge deal. But then we sat at our table for 25 min without even being acknowledged. I had to ask the manger to order water and initial round of drinks. He was great. The lobster in the gnocchi dish was over cooked. The server was completely overwhelmed so we hardly even saw her. The cherry on top was that after delivering my bill, she forgot about us and thought she already ran my card. I could have walked out without paying but obviously did not. I had to hunt her down just to pay my tab. It’s a bummer because the vibe was great, the DJ was awesome, but the food and the service was a major miss. Bummed

   I rarely write negative reviews, but I was truly disappointed by my experience here. I had been eager to try this restaurant for some time, and when I saw they were offering a special Valentine’s Day dinner, I took the opportunity and made a reservation for their prix-fixe four-course meal. Unfortunately, the experience fell far short of expectations. My reservation was for 8:30 PM, but I wasn’t seated until 8:50 PM. Once seated, it took about 10 minutes for our server to take our drink order and another 10 minutes before he explained the four-course menu and took our entrée selection. It was another 10 minutes before the first course—the salad—arrived. While the salad was enjoyable, that was where the positives ended. After 40 more minutes, we still hadn’t received our second course, the appetizer. Throughout this time, our server never checked in, refilled our drinks, or even acknowledged our table. Given the lively atmosphere with music and the Valentine’s Day ambiance, I hadn’t initially realized just how long we had been waiting. However, nearly two hours in, with only the salad served, I had no choice but to leave due to my blood sugar levels dropping as I am diabetic. For a restaurant of this caliber, offering a set menu at a premium price, I expected far better service and efficiency. With a fixed-course meal, once service begins, dishes should be brought out in a timely manner. The long delays, lack of attention from the staff, and overall experience were incredibly disappointing. I had high hopes for this meal, but unfortunately, I left frustrated and unsatisfied.

   The dinner was pleasant, but as usual, this restaurant imposes a ridiculous "wellness fee" of 10%. On top of that, they add tax after calculating the wellness fee, making the extra charges confusing and excessive. It’s unclear how much additional money they’re trying to extract from customers. To the management: your restaurant is located right next to the lobby, and I’m sure many tourists pay without carefully reviewing their receipts, ultimately spending far more than the 25% you’re already asking for. This practice is completely ruining the dining experience in Los Angeles and leaving a bad impression of beautiful Southern California.
