From the OpenTable editors: This massive open-flame restaurant charmed diners with fire pits, a wall decorated with camping gear, and warm communal vibes when it opened in 2016. It still has powerhouse status thanks to an excellent craft cocktail program and seasonal wood-fired masterpieces, which could include fire-roasted octopus with green harissa or smoked coffee-rubbed brisket.

At Campfire, we do something special for all groups of 7-12 guests, as we invite large parties to gather together and feast. The Feast is a fixed four-course, family-style meal priced at $80 per guest. You won’t have to make any decisions, as we'll take care of everything, cooking up some of our favorite dishes from every section of the menu. If your group includes young children, please email hello@thisiscampfire.com for help with your booking. Cancellations may be made up to 24 hours in advance of your reservation. Overall the service and food was very good. Steak and the fish entrees were perfectly prepared and cooked. The staff was attentive and checking on us periodically. I wish they offered a few more entree options to choose from. My espresso martini was delightful but the other cocktails we ordered was all ice and very little “cocktail”. My son took three sips of his drinks and he was done, it didn’t fill the full glass and my daughter’s cocktail was only filled 3/4 of the way with the beverage and it was overflowing with ice. Ambiance was nice.

To die for food service and ambiance. Skip all the other restaurants on state (except Wildland and Jeune Et Joile) and eat here!!! Had the olives, bread, chicken, prawns, pasta and a bottle of the cab franc from Palomar Mountain :) amazing!!! Loved it all.

if you want some great grub and noise, this is the place. Not suited for a quiet convrsation. Food was unique and delicious. No problems with the seven items ordered. Front staff and wait staff were quite attentive.

First two courses were great, cocktails were excellent. The proteins on all of our mains were overcooked. The pork chop was especially hammered, and fairly lean, so it ate extremely dry. Probably very good for the area, but overall I would say decent, not a must return.
