Can Can is a French brasserie and bakery in Cary Court Shopping Center. With seating for over 140 in the main dining room, an Art Nouveau inspired private dining room that seats up to 60 guests or over 100 for cocktails, and a full-service bakery and pastry kitchen supplying all of its breads, pastries, and desserts, the restaurant’s versatility should provide the area an array of options and events.

Unfortunately the quality of the food at can can has gone down with new owners. Two burgers and chopped steak came to the table medium well instead of medium rare. The fried oysters on the beet salad were greasy. Overall, we were surprised at how much it has changed. It was always a dependable spot for a great meal but now…?

My nephew and his daughter visiting from California and we set them up for high expectations for a great evening. We have always loved Can Can but last night's dinner was just meh. The onion soup was warm, not hot. We told our waitress but did not apologize. It took a good five minutes after the three of us were served our entrees for my great niece's dinner to come out. My nephew's beef Bourguignon was just okay. My husband's vegetarian entree gave him a bad stomach ache. My moules frites had a few questionable mussels in there that I had to spit out. Can Can now charge for bread. We skipped dessert. After coming here for many many years we're not coming back. So sad we live within walking distance too.

Always excellent food and service! This is a must dining spot every time we visit Richmond.

The food was excellent and the restaurant's noise level was not too bad at all. The service in general was not the best. Staff attempted to serve our entrees before our appetizer dishes were cleared. There were other service items,s that could be improved like for instance having a specific person to prepare the Bread service thus allowing the wait staff to attend to their tables.

It is our tradition to go to Cac Can on the eve of Thanksgiving. And are never disappointed. .

We went on a buys Sunday around noon. Unfortunately we got the table by the busing station. Our server was very friendly and the food was good. It was loud though. I’ll go back, but I’ll pick a less busy time!

Our favorite brunch and breakfast place - we even come to Richmond early just to be at Can Can. Love that you are offering a full brunch on Saturdays and extended breakfast otherwise. We plan to be there every morning if we are in town.

Thank you for great service SAMI DAVIS! She was very helpful and professional. And absolutely opposite feelings we delivered from Host Lady who ask us about reservation. It was 5 pm 11/23. We constantly coming to Can Can and few times met her in front . She definitely needs to learn be nice and polite with guests and leave her dissatisfied face at home. If she don’t like work with people she can find another place to work . She representing Can Can just horrible way. PS. Thank you for wonderful dinner to Chef and his team )🔥 Sincerely , Can Csn clients )
