   This has become our "go to" for a great dinner! Both as a family & just the 2 of us to sit at the chef's counter! A great birthday dinner for my husband this time!

   This is always one of our favorite spots. Good assortment of food choices, and all at reasonable prices. This is coupled with the delightful setting and attentive and charming staff. A must do.

   Shared a few small plates and a dessert with my partner. They are masters of blending flavors and textures in every bite. The food is wonderful, service is on point, Friday night vibe was packed and loud.

   Unfortunately this is our second time here and the food was subpar and the service was beyond slow- it took an hour to get our entrees. Not sure if that’s supposed to be the vibe, but definitely don’t go here with little ones or when you’re really hungry!

   Canard is a guaranteed great meal! Finding truly well-executed food in Portland and the surrounding area can be surprisingly difficult. Too often, restaurants that pride themselves on fresh pasta end up overcooking it, dishes lack seasoning, and cocktails lean sickeningly sweet—all despite a mid-to-high price point. Not at Canard. Every visit has been a consistent delight, free of the usual culinary mishaps. As someone who is particular about food quality, I can confidently say that Canard delivers every time. In the past four months, I’ve dined here six times, and it has never disappointed. Whenever I’m tired of my own cooking and craving a meal I can trust, I know exactly where to go. Keep up the fantastic work! I’m excited to see what the spring/summer menu will bring. Thank you for being a beacon of excellence in a sea of overpriced mediocrity.

    I want to give it more stars. From the service to the chef mingling, every thing we ordered…it was all money. Best meal in a long time.
