I loved the food. It was well seasoned, comforting and flavorful! My husband was shocked at how quickly the food came out but still managed to taste sooooooo delicious. The only minor set back was that it’s an intimate space so when the door opens, one can feel every bit of the draft from outside.

Delicious food, great atmosphere and small spot i would go again…street parking can be a problem read the parking signs

I’m from Kentucky. But Cane is ALWAYS a stop for me when visiting my girlfriend. It’s the first date we had and has been consistent for our last 5 years. 😍

Cane is a small, cozy but comfortable restaurant in the up and coming NE Washington DC area. The staff was very polite and accommodating and answered all of their guests questions on the menu. Once we made our orders the food arrived so quickly that we were kind of shocked but in a good way. The food was tasty and spicy, a good heat generator on a chilly winter evening. The only negative comment is that the all Caribbean sound track was too loud for conversation and did not vary in beat enough to give relief. Otherwise, it is a very pleasant, casual dining experience

I cannot say enough amazing things about Cane! I had only been there at dinner. This was my first time there for lunch but it was the most amazing experience. The service was incredible. They made us feel like family. The owner was testing some new items and actually shared the dessert with us. The food is delicious and the flavors are so clean and yummy.

The waiter was wonderful. My friends and I are from the Caribbean and know that the food at Cane is authentic, well prepared, fresh, and flavorful. We will definitely be back.

It was restaurant week so very busy. We didn’t get our drinks until half way through our meal. We didn’t get water refill until the end of dinner. We had to ask twice for our dessert. They needed more staff to keep up with restaurant week
