    I made a reservation a week before Valentine’s Day, show up to be told they can’t take me even though I had a reservation. First time I’ve ever experienced anything like this, terrible service and very unprofessional.

    Unfortunately our experience here was terrible. We were immediately told that there would be at least a 30 minute wait for appetizers - which we were fine with. The appetizer arrived and my main meal arrived almost simultaneously (my husband’s did not). The waiter returned and told me that the meal he brought was actually not my order and took it from me only to return a few minutes later saying, it was in fact, my meal. My husband’s meal had still not arrived so we asked where it was. Ten minutes later it arrived- with the wrong sides. My pasta was cold, as was my husband’s steak. It was evident that others were experiencing similar problems and we actually saw one couple get up and leave. After waiting 10 minutes for our bill my husband went to the bar to pay and waited 10 more minutes for someone to acknowledge him. We were so disappointed as we have enjoyed this restaurant in the past. Needless to say, we won’t be returning.

    The service was slow. We stood there for 10 mins waiting to be seated and did not even get acknowledged. To make matters worse, a couple that enter after we did, got seated ahead of us. The waiter took our drink order, appetizer and main course order all at one time we received our drink order very promptly, but after that it was a long wait for our appetizer and main course. A coffee after the meal took forever. Not once were we asked how the meal was. The food was great but the service very slow and impersonal.

    The kitchen was behind, they said it would be 1.5 hour waiting. So had to leave.

    Cafeteria style environment, posted menu with appealing plates had been replaced with a reduced menu of more basic meal choices. The server was attentive and pleasant. The food was prepared well.

    Booked a reservation 3 days in advance, walked in and no one greeted us after waiting for a couple minutes we had to ask someone if we could seat ourselves. We waited about 15 minutes before the only person working finally greeted us and told us that we couldn’t order off of the knew and our only option was the hotel buffet breakfast. I understand many places are understaffed but it was extremely unprofessional especially when having reservations available on open table.

    The server was doing her best but there were too many tables and not enough staff. We went for weekend brunch, we didn’t have the buffet and ordered from the menu - the food wasn’t hot, the eggs were dry, the sausages were pink throughout, no coffee refills. Disappointed.

    My party was pleased with the food and drinks. The fish and chips I ordered were dry and could have had a softer batter for the fish.

    They seated us quickly and the waiter was friendly. Beyond that, not impressed. They couldn’t do pizzas so 2 people had to reorder, the loaded nachos weren’t all that loaded, burgers were overcooked and dry, the meals came out staggered (45 minutes after we sat down for the first meal, 1 hour & 40 minutes for the last one). Lots of places in the same price range (BPs, Moxies, Kelsey’s, Bernard Stanley’s, Brewdock, and the micro breweries) are better. Won’t be back.

    The cocktails were subpar (mostly alcohol not a lot of flavour). The spinach dip appetizer was a large portion and delicious. The mains were ok, large portions however we didn’t finish eating them as we spotted a mouse running across the floor and lost our appetite. Told the waiter who also spotted the mouse. He brought us the full bill, not discounted. We advised based on the mouse and all of us not finishing our food we should get a discount. Had to wait for him to contact a manager who advised him to offer a 45% discount on the food only. Not impressed will not be back and will not be recommending.
