    The Canoe House is one of our top 5 restaurants in the world, and we travel extensively. The food is awesome and you cannot beat the view - 180 degree ocean.

    Great flavors and excellent menu. Wariyaki kampachi (and wagyu) are soo good. Been here many times and they continue to maintain high quality standards. Will be back for sure on our next visit to the island.

    Beautiful night! Food was wonderful. Garlic rice, wagyu Bavette, lobster, foi gras gyoza, poke all delicious. Dustin is an excellent server! Best place to dine on Big Island!

    Our server Ian was amazing! Had great recommendations from the menu, everything was delicious. Atmosphere was spectacular! The seating was perfectly placed to enjoy the Breathtaking views. Highly recommend for special occasion & celebrations!

    Obviously you can’t beat the location and the view. The food is great, the service is excellent but the prices are just too high. We used to go there more often but now we are cutting back because we think it just overpriced.

    Canoe House is not what it used to be. The Canoe House has lost its shine. The food was good but not exceptional. The service was rushed. We live local and always felt good about paying the price for a wonderful meal with friends, but now it's just another overpriced resort restaurant. Management has changed at the hotel and restaurant and the quality of both is slipping. Too bad
