We enjoyed a Great meal before New Years! Service was 10/10,from the greeting 🙏 to the seating! Our second dinner in Edgemont Village,a wide variety of options with a Great drink list!! 🍸 If you like Mexican food, This should be your next rezo on the North Shore!

Nice spot cozy ambience and good portion tasty drinks just need a bit more finesse in the kitchen Enchilada wet and sloppy too saucy and brown Fish overcooked overly reduced sauce was sweet and dish had shades of burnt top finally untended duck skin and overcooking led to chewy duck the concept is nice just sadly lacking a refined lead on the culinary side

Highly recommended, the food was delicious and lovely service! We really enjoy Mexican food so it’s great to have a nice Mexican restaurant on the north shore! Will definitely be back!

Cantina Norte is the continuation of the wonderful tradition of Cafe Norte from the old days in the Village when my husband and I were regular patrons. The new restaurant combines Mexican tradition and contemporary design. Margaritas were excellent, our favourite Chiles Relleno did not disappoint. Coming back from Toronto we enjoyed good service and loved buying great BC Pinot Noir at a reasonable price and being able to take the bottle with us. It was a lovely experience.

It was my first time at the restaurant. Great place. Very delicious food. Their salsa is really tasty. It was my friend’s birthday and we ordered Huevos Divorciados and we both liked it. Very nice service. We’ll definitely go back again. Highly recommend it.
