   We were seated in the “patio” out back, right next to the clear plastic window covers. The heaters above our table were not turned on. As a result, it was very cold and felt damp at our table. We love Cap City Diner and usually have an outstanding dining experience. This time, not so much. We will never accept seating in the patio when the weather is cold and rainy.

   The restaurant was very nice, it was also cool to be able to get a table for Valentine's Day with a 2-week notice. The food was very good, and it was a nice touch that one of the managers let us know there was a slight issue with one of the plates, but that it would be coming shortly. Our waitress came right after that and gave us a dessert on the house! Have been to Cap City Dublin twice already, and I'm looking forward to going back again.

   We were seated at a very small table outside, with young children and teenagers, definitely not the Valentine’s Day experience my husband and I were expecting seated right in a walkway where people were constantly walking by, wanted to be inside in a beautiful restaurant not outside in a “tent” vibe

   We visited Cap City Fine Diner in Dublin last night, just me and my 4-year-old daughter. Parking was a bit of a hassle with only a garage or street parking available, and it was busy. We started with the shrimp cocktail. The shrimp were decent, but honestly, the portion size felt too small for the price, making it not the best value. I went with the Philly cheesesteak and fries, and it was good. No complaints there. My daughter had the macaroni & cheese, fries, and a kids salad. She loved the mac & cheese, and the waitress was amazing, customizing the salad with toppings my daughter liked. The service was great overall, and the waitress really made an effort to ensure we had a pleasant experience. However, we did have to reserve a table in advance and hold it with a credit card, which felt a bit unnecessary given the wait times. Overall, it was a fine experience, but the value and some aspects of the meal didn’t quite meet expectations. Still, it’s a good spot for a casual meal with kids, especially if you’re able to make a reservation ahead of time.

   We love Cap City. Period. That said, recent health concerns have us evaluating the best entrees that are low sodium. We are grateful we could order the salmon without the ginger sauce (thank you, chef!) but we also noticed a price increase and smaller portions on the entrees. We understand d. It’s a business. Today, we were extremely disappointed with our server, Asher. He served plates OVER one diner (unfortunately, I gave him an out since we had a collapsible transport chair next to our table and he stated that was the reason. Not so. He had plenty of room to go around the empty table next to us, but did not. I provided feedback to him). I’d suggest that the kitchen offer lower sodium entrees in addition to the gluten free options. Again, we love the Cameron Mitchell restaurants and hope they join most restaurants in offering more healthy options.

    Cameron Mitchell restaurants consistently provide a great meal and experience. The staff are some of the best in the business. Cap City is our go to restaurant for our family celebrations. Thank you Cameron Mitchell and staff!!!
