Captain's Quarters a historic restaurant in Louisville overlooking the Ohio River at Harrods Creek serving a wide range of seafood, steak, sandwich and salad options. With all of its meats and fish handpicked or market fresh there is plenty of dishes to choose from that will suit anyone's tastes. There is also a full bar that serves a range of cocktails, martinis and wines that will complement the meals at Captain's Quarters. While most popular in the summertime with outdoor decks, the cozy indoor views in the winter can be spectacular.

The wait time for less than 5 minutes for out table. The staff was attentive and polite. Chloe suggested and recommended several items on the menu and it was not disappointing. For drinks we had Kentucky martini and a Kentucky lemonade. Both were great! If you don’t like rye whiskey, this is not for you! I loved it. On to the food, appetizer was boom boom shrimp and wontons. The shrimp was tastefully made and you can savor the seasoning. The wontons were good but not as great as the shrimp. We had seafood trio. Flavorful and plenty! Also had the chicken and shrimp pasta. Definitely a lot of food and the taste was phenomenal. Tonight did not disappoint!

It was good not a lot of options to choose from the menu, some of the food was good some was okay. Service was good last time i went the tip wasn’t included but i guess it now automatically put the tip on which i thought was weird, because it was 25% added on to our bill.

This was our second time here and we will be back! The menu has so much to offer and the food quality is fantastic. There are so many more menu items we want to try and the service and ambiance is impeccable!

We had a great server (Lena), she was very nice. We sat on the patio, listened to the band and watched the Pumpkin Chunkin’ event/fundraiser for a bit. Fun atmosphere, tasty food, beautiful view, sunny day, we had a really good time!

The steak was as good as that of a steakhouse. The outside seating is also beautiful.

We were able to make reservation a couple of hours prior to dining. We were greeted warmly and seated immediately upon arrival.our server arrived soon after we were seated and asked if there was any food allergies and took our drink order. Once the drinks were served we place our orders. My grandson ordered a delicious pizza, my wife has the chili-lime tacos, and In had the spinach, strawberry, candied pecan salad with chili-lime shrimp. Everything we ordered was very good. Our server was attentive and the ambiance of the restaurant overlooking the river was very relaxing. A great restaurant for a causal meal!
