Enjoy a wonderful dining experience with family or friends at Carelli's. Owner Greg Carelli with help from his father Gene wanted to offer guests authentic Italian cuisine in a contemporary setting that features a large open flame fireplace, mosaic tiles, natural Birch woods, and warm lighting. An appetizer of fresh mozzarella and Beefsteak tomato caprese, lightly breaded calamari or lamb artichoke meatballs will please the palate at Carelli's. Guests can dine on baked jumbo shells stuffed with spinach and ricotta , the classic chicken parmigiana or shrimp scampi. Artisanal pizza, calzones, and paninis. Awsome Gluten-free options are also available.

Carelli's was the winner of the Daily Camera Reader's Choice 2002-2020 award for Best Italian Restaurant and ambiance. It also has won awards from the Denver Post and Boulder Weekly magazines. It has an awesome bar scene and an extensive wine list. Carelli's restaurant features daily fresh fish specials.

Carol and I had a wonderful meal on our recent return trip to Carelli's! She is recovering from surgery on her foot, so was using crutches and on this icy evening the staff were very helpful in ensuring her safety up into the restaurant and back to the car. We enjoyed the gentle conversational buzz and all the smiles in the dining room and our cozy table by the fireplace. The pacing of our cocktails, salmon carpaccio, salad and lasagna special was perfect and delivered with a warm smile by our server Jasmine. Carol had a Kir Royale and I tried a new (to me) pinot grigio from the Fruilly region - both excellent. The carpaccio is always one of our favorites, and was again, superb. The lasagna and salad special was outstanding (that homemade blue cheese dressing, wow!) - just the sort 'comfort entree' we needed on a cold and snowy evening.

Food was amazing, make reservations because it was very packed and they were turning people away. Also check the bar if you don’t make reservations, they don’t offer it to you.

We are from out of town and ate here for the first time last night. It was really good. We celebrated and early Thanksgiving dinner here. It was great.

Beautiful restaurant. Great atmosphere. Wait staff was friendly, but seemed a bit overwhelmed. Food was solid Italian, but not exceptional. Good value.
