   Very understaffed, waiter worked very hard to greet and serve ..felt sorry for them. Food rather ordinary these days and over priced

   We are fairly regular here but we’re disappointed this time. Quite expensive now. Bruschettas were dry, bread too thin and tomatoes lacking taste. The chicken Milanese again dry and lacking much flavour. Pasta giardino meant to be signature dish again lacking definite flavour. Generally edible lunch but missing good flavours we expect from Carluccio Also no burrata. Surely an Italian restaurant should not run out ,

   Used to go to Carluccios in Bath many years ago, was looking for somewhere to have dinner and my partner had never been so thought we’d try the Cribbs branch. Not sure whether it was this restaurant specifically or if Carluccios itself has gone downhill since my last visits, but my carbonara was appalling. Burnt meat, bland oily sauce… I left and genuinely felt sick all evening from the grease. My partner said his pizza was “ok” but equivalent to a frozen supermarket pizza, which didn’t suit the restaurant price tag. Yes, okay, the food came very quickly, but I think this was at the cost of quality.

   Not enough staff, food wasnt warm enough, out of many menu items even though our table was booked for 1215. Surroundings looked scruffy, table was wobbly. Not a great experience

   We absolutely loved Carluccio’s today, we had lunch and it was delicious. Our waitress was Evie and she was excellent, professional, knowledgeable and very friendly. If you love Italian 🇮🇹 food you will love this gorgeous restaurant.

   Thank you all ever so much for the last visit , it was a delight in every way - you are such a wonderful team . I am in Denmark at the moment and will be back end January . Miss my visits to you and your friendly welcomes very much . Hope you all have a well deserved rest after the hectic Chrimbo period . Much love and thanks again.

    Food is always lovely, staff always so helpful and friendly. Love the offers you get if you come back within a certain time frame. Just need some more vegan options :)
