Carlyle Grill, an Ann Arbor mainstay has proudly served the Ann Arbor Community since 2006. We work with some of Michigan’s finest food producers and purveyors to bring you the freshest offerings around. From steak dinners to burgers and salads and everything in between, we pride ourselves on providing you the best in flavor – offering generous portions to feed the hungriest of guests.

Comfort is the theme at our relaxed, family-friendly restaurant, where the menu runs to familiar, home-style dishes with top-notch regional ingredients. Enjoy our welcoming atmosphere featuring colorful yet classic design elements – bringing in added warmth and comfort with deep mahogany accents and large flagstone columns in our main dining room.

    Excellent crab cake appetizer, lasagna, and best chicken tenders in town. Generous serving sizes. Service friendly and competent. Happy hour in bar has good prices on well crafted cocktails. We had a martini with blue cheese olives, cab wine, cosmo, and bourbon old fashioned. All noteworthy. Bar was crowded with happy, lively patrons.

    It was good. Reservation was punctual, seated on time. Wait person was lovely, efficient and helpful. One glitch: another staffer served a drink and knocked over a glass. It shattered and poured entirely over the front of one of our guests. Saturated. Staff responded but! He was offered a dry-cleaning. Please. Who dry cleans casual clothes any longer?!? This is outdated compensation. His meal or a gift card for another time would have been much more effective expression of managements customer service. Disappointed. Not looking for freebies, just expecting better of Carlyle’s.

    Our server (Angela) was excellent. The prime rib was okay, but not great. The smashburger was good, but not great. The fish & chips was excellent. The carrot cake was good, but not as good as in past years.
