Carlyle Grill, an Ann Arbor mainstay has proudly served the Ann Arbor Community since 2006. We work with some of Michigan’s finest food producers and purveyors to bring you the freshest offerings around. From steak dinners to burgers and salads and everything in between, we pride ourselves on providing you the best in flavor – offering generous portions to feed the hungriest of guests.

Comfort is the theme at our relaxed, family-friendly restaurant, where the menu runs to familiar, home-style dishes with top-notch regional ingredients.     NYE, ordered the surf and turf for fun. Lobster was almost inedible it was so incredibly overcooked and tough. Our server was trying hard and apologized for forgetting something which is fine we’re all human. It was a bummer no one asked how our meal was when we were actually eating (manager came around after salads) because I would have shared the lobster issue, I only ate a few bites and you could see how stringy it was which happens when overcooked.

    Service was very good. Server was very familiar with the menu. Food was tasty and served hot. Key lime pie did not have a lime taste.

    Restaurant was lively, as well as the bar, at 7pm on a Friday night. Very friendly host station and table was ready close to our reservation time. Decent wine selection and very tasty appetizers (got the Brussels sprouts and artichoke dip - both good portions). Super attentive wait staff and dinner was served at a fair pace. Everyone at the table enjoyed their meals, but too full for dessert — maybe next time.

    I really like this place. Food is good . Service could be better. Staff needs to be trained in food service better. They brought all our food out together. When we got salad and soups. Then they brought the rest of the food at the same time We felt rushed and would have appreciated old school service, where we could of enjoyed our salad and soups 1st. We made resvatiopn to enjoy our evening. The waitress did a good job to turn our experience better. We had a good experience

    My shrimp pasta was very good but my wife’s shrimp cakes dish was only fair. Our biggest complaint was slow and very inattentive service. My wife got up twice to refill her own water glass. It appeared that we were a bother to the wait staff.

    We were seated very close to our reservation time. The restaurant was very busy, and noisy walking in. The noise didn't bother us once we were seated. I'm sorry I didn't get our servers name -- she was everything I appreciate in a server -- very pleasant and efficient. We didn't have any special requests. The food was excellent -- we both had the same thing which is what we wanted before we got there -- salmon, redskin potatoes and veggies. All in all a very good experience.
