   Extremely good service. The food was good but not massive portions. The sauces that went with both meals were outstanding. We found the decor unique and fun. Due to the high ceilings, the noise level was high. There was a large group that were shouting to each other all evening. Not the restaurant’s fault but a nuisance nonetheless. It was a bit pricy considering the food was good (not great) and the portions were lean.

   Unique dining experience at the marina with inspiring aesthetics, amazing art work complimented by tasteful Latin cuisine, oh and the hand crafted cocktails with a colorful flare are tops. “Amazing experience”

   Me and my fiancée had the pleasure of dinning in for their Valentines event. We had the ropa and the ceviche to start 10/10 for both. Next he had the grilled rid-eye and I the seafood paella he said it was the best steak he's had in a while my paella was also flavorful so many different seafood it was wonderful! By the time dessert came we were stuffed! our server Basil was also very entertaining and attentive as well plus the drinks were perfection! Definitely coming back!

   With the hype around their valentines dining experience, I came with expectations of a lovely night with some form of live entertainment outside of the 3 course “fine dining” menu they were offering for the increased cost of some options that were already on menu. However it seemed to be just a regular night, no entertainment at all, (could’ve atleast booked a saxophonist). It was nothing special and the food was not the best. On top of very slow service. My reservation was at 8:30 and I was leaving out the door at almost 11pm along with a colleague who had a 10:00 res (sat right next to me) and was out of there in 30-45mins. But I had half time shows between every course having to complain while seeing my colleague and his date get the best service ever at his table (in timing). Then the manager tried to ease my tensions by mentioning I shouldn’t mind waiting sitting looking in my wife’s beautiful face. After we’ve already been waiting a while. I almost said something but kept my cool. At the point we agreed not to spend any more on drinks there and just wanted to leave once we can get our dessert which at that point we’re in the middle of the 2nd half time show of waiting between courses (20mins easy). My wife and I were not happy with the “Valentine Experience”. Carnivale should really look into local talents for these momentous nights to bring in great live entertainment as to up the ante of the guest experiences. The beautiful property wont be enough to keep the guests happy.especially at night when we can’t see the water. Also have extra staff on deck for nights like this whereas one server won’t be trying to manage soo many tables and forget ones like ours. I ask the server lady for napkins once my salad was brought to me. She said ok and NEVER brought them back. My wife and I joked that she’s casually walking by singing the songs playing on the speakers but didn’t bring back what we asked for. My wife and I shared the 1napkin from her appetizer dish

   Very difficult to find. Hidden behind a large water tank. Cannot be seen from the road. needs better signage. Very open and spacious dining area. Also includes a very large sports bar type seating.

   We expect to pay a premium when we stay on Paradise Island but this came without any quality. While the ambiance and location is nice and you can tell they pumped money into the place, the service and food were not good at all. You could tell servers were busy, so I understand that being sub par, but there was nothing they could have done to make the food better aside from changing the recipe/ingredients. The restaurant and bar are beautifully designed. From the website to the landscaping to the tableware, all of the aesthetic decisions contribute to a visually attractive experience. For better or worse, these first impressions set a certain expectation for the quality of service and food. Unfortunately, Carnivale fell short in those areas where it matters most. For some added context, we are regular visitors to Paradise Island, with over 30 trips here between us. Our expectations are informed by numerous experiences at essentially every other dining option on the island. In fairness to Carnivale, we're reviewing them by that metric. Our reservation was made with a note that it was for our anniversary, which was never acknowledged. We do not want or expect any extras, we communicated that so the restaurant knew that the meal was special to us. We were seated with menus and it was over ten minutes before our server came by. We were not asked if we'd like any water. We ordered our drinks and all food together. The drinks arrived one minute before the food, about 25 minutes later. The cocktails (Paper Boat and Carnivale Old Fashioned) were somewhere between just ok and not great.

   My wife and I really enjoyed our experience. It was nice to have a new restaurant with unique food. This place is tucked in by the bridge and we hope more diners will come and enjoy the food. A bit pricey, but we plan to return with friends.
