The award winning Carriages restaurant is uniquely located within the allpay ltd campus in Whitestone Business Park, Hereford, and has been described as "City chic in rural Hereford".

Carriages was inspired by founder Tony Killeen's passion for trains and the quirky setting of the restaurant, which overlooks the old Whitestone railway station.

You can enjoy views of the rolling hills from the floor to ceiling windows in the top floor restaurant; dine inside or alfresco, on the spacious balcony, or walk the landscaped grounds surrounding the Four Seasons lake - which transforms into a maze of secret gardens, impressively lit up at night.

Open Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings.

Due to the nature of the restaurant, any children dining must be over 12 years old and accompanied by an adult.

We have been to Carriages on many occasions, however last night- their first Thursday night opening, was the best yet. The food was above and beyond. Such friendly & knowledgeable service from all the staff. We will definitely be back!

A wonderful romantic evening with roses and glorious food and wine. We love coming to Carriages, the staff always make us feel welcome and special. I can’t think of a nicer place to visit!

Everything was perfect from arrival, being escorted to the seating area and the service was second to none. Our server was great and always checking in with us that we were satisfied. The food was all very tasty and brilliant value for money. The presentation of the food was exceptional and the variety of dishes was great - lovely to try something new they don't do anywhere else! The sommelier was very informative and the ambiance was perfect. Will definitely be visiting again!

We have eaten at Carriages many times. Food and service has always been first class but our anniversary dinner last night was spectacular! The best butter poached lobster we have ever tasted followed by slow braised short rib of beef which was melt in your mouth good! We had enough room for a fabulous cheeseboard accompanied with Sandeman 20yr tawny port, all were absolutely delicious. To top the evening off we took advantage of the complimentary transport home made available to those living within 15 minutes of the restaurant which means you can enjoy a glass or two of the wonderful wines on the menu. The staff are so helpful and professional and Kelly the front of house manager is superb! We are already looking forward to another visit!
